No one is saying he should score every chance he gets, but when he gets teed up every match and still has zero goals in those situations it stands out Messi or not.

Yet he’ll score goals from harder angles like he did today. Needs to get rid of the Sterling gene before he can win a Ballon d’or.

I do agree with the fact that his finishing is hit or miss. I'm just not noticing the Messi connection. But I guess the "letting down Messi" is an inevitable narrative at this point.

Kehrer has always been crap... similar to quite a few players who dont belong to PSG really Luckily PSG finally got Hakimi n I like Mendes the LB a lot.

Love how Messi walks in to Paris and now all the players have to prove themselves to him as if he has been their best player this season (LOL) whereas Mbappe is cleaning up house game by game. Since he basically is not putting up memorable performances beyond the City game as of yet the least he can do is create for his forwards as it is doesnt mean they will convert each chance.

He does seem to perform more in Europe and look more home there compared to whats a physical and testing French ground so far but should adapt by mid-season.
