Was Vidal's €12M price tag overpriced and overpaid ?

1. Vidal is originally a destroyer. Do not judge 1 season as all he can do. Bayern Munich wanted him to replace Mark "Terminator" van Bommel, FFS!
2. Sahin had a 10m clause in his contract, you cannot compare.
3. Oezil was linked with Barca and Madrid, had a good WC and a slew of teams after him. His price will be bumped a few million which is nothing nowadays.
4. It's a frakking bargain.

Now times that figure by 1.5 and you get Sahin's value.

And gone for what? 10 million?? These are the kind of deals Moggi used to pull back in the day for Juve.

No he is not overpriced at all. Vidal has been Bundensliga's best midfielder after Sahin this season and getting him for 12 million has been one of Marotta's better buys. The Ozil and Sahin cases were different, Ozil had only 6 months left in his contract and considering that 15 million for him seems a little inflated but it paid off and the Sahin one was just damn shrewd business. In this market Juventus have too be commended on getting such a player for only 12 million.

Well i guess we can end this debate then. Vidal was definately not overpriced. Great business by Marotta.
