I won't sit here and let Gattuso be disrespected whilst absolute FRAUDS like Fonseca get tapped up because they have a sexy name and are relatively obscure

Gattuso is a better candidate than Fonseca, people think because of his playing days that translates to his coaching ability being all hustle and bustle. He'll have a better career than Fonseca ever will (0 relevance in Ukrainian league) he's already finished ahead of him this season.

Funny how people think former players ability on the pitch are somewhat relevant, your 300 IQ Pep-understudy in Arteta is one of the worst managers in the PL but you won't hear a peep if he finished 13th because he has a 'plan'

It's because most of them don't actually care. They are only saying that because Gattuso isn't an attractive name to be linked to. They probably think he coaches football the way he played it and saw his managerial record and come to their own conclusions. If Pep/Klopp/Tuchel/Simeone/Zidane/Conte said whatever Gattuso supposedly said it would absolutely be overlooked.

Upvoted. Rino is quite simply a good coach. One who has shown to learn well through his years and his Napoli tenure was an example and a respected one.

He was good at Milan too despite a stubborn end so it is odd to see a nothing trophy like Spurs complain about getting him as if they are remotely a top team.

Agree in general, but Fonseca is no fraud. This I cannot abide this from anyone. He's not entirely blameless and absolutely didn't live up to the expectations set, particularly in this past season, but to call him a fraud is off the mark.

Was he good enough for Spurs? I think so. Is Gattuso the better option? I think so. These things are not mutually exclusive. We don't have to tear down one coach to build up another.

i dont think EPL has seen the chaos he took over milan and napoli and how much stability he brought .. ok he is not tactical genius but he is hardworking man and player's guy. he gives tough love to his player but in the interest of making everyone play to their best ability.

the only problem with gattuso is that he is very straightforward to the owners and if spurs cant handle that its their loss not gattuso's.
gattuso has no problem in fact when he left he still had active contract and he didnt take a penny from milan nor from napoli

u cant get a coach like that who says no i will resign on mutual terms instead of taking money and dry it off u. all  they had to do was give gattuso to work in peace

i did see some harsh comments on gattuso from comments in youtube that he is a loose canon and he is always raging but did anyone even see him on his press conference and sidelines during his tenure at palermo, milan and napoli?
atleast its a good thing that if they didnt come to terms they didnt sign up.

im afraid spurs are really running out of getting coaches in time. i guess in that respect it wouldnt be bad thing for Mason to just be caretaker and prepare the team for time being just like Everton did
