I don’t know what you guys are referring to since I’m not watching this match, but in Spain and in England, refs often seem to opt for not relying on VAR, so the room for error is still very much there.

we've had about 3 to 4 dubious red card calls gone against now this season
and another 7 to 8 calls where red cards should have been given to the team playing against us

Re: 2020/21 Premier League Discussion
The red for David Luiz is one of the most ridiculous decisions I have seen for a while.
It is basically a blatant reversal of the new Double Jeopardy law, where a player making a foul that is neither violent or against the player shouldn't get a red and concede a penalty.
In this case, David Luiz can be argued to have made an accidental foul, which concedes a penalty, but not one which even deserves a yellow card.

I think the punishment for a Red card is extremely severe. Losing a man for possible 90 minutes is in no way equal to the punishment.
Instead, it really should be a 10 minutes sin bin (and the red-carded player must be subbed).
Right now, I am seeing too many matches get ruined because the law treats minor offenses the same ad career-ending lunges.

Eh beating up on 10 man Southampton from the 2nd minute proves diddly. Do it up against the real heavyweights like Sheffield Utd if you want respecc

Arsenal have lost their last four Premier League games with Craig Pawson in charge.

really heartwarming to realise that there are other fans also who are suffering and crying because of referee decisions and VAR.

Re: 2020/21 Premier League Discussion
Man U were always good at these stat pad games and raping minnows. Actually I think they did something similar to the same team back in the golden days of the 90s, 8-0 I think it was - Andy Cole and Ole scored iirc Loool...
