Respect the results but can't stand this boring side-to-side passing. There's zero penetration. The only way they get in is the big switch to Navas but it's so easy to read. Once the ball goes left to Gomez and Escudero it's 100% going to the right because there's no penetration on the left flank. Gomez is playing like a 4th midfielder (and being shit at it, too). Dortmund's right back can stick as tightly to him as he wants because there's no threat behind him to worry about.

Fernando vacating the midfield at every chance + a failing high press = Dortmund feasting. Watch the 2nd goal. One pass from the centre back cuts out their entire midfield. Sevilla look like a team of old men (I mean, four of their starting eleven are 33 or older so...).
