Klopp is laughing to loud and too forcedly all through his press conference, he keeps repeating that "all is good", while his eyes project unrest and unease

There's something wrong at Liverpool. They're not even capable of coughing up 30m for the world's best midfielder it seems.
They haven't reinforced the team meaningfully in over 2 years.

Absolutely no way they defend the title.

Let's get predictions in

Now that you said it, they are going to win it by February.

I am officially adopting Leeds as my favourite club this season. And as a one and only supporter of this rich club on this forum I declare , should anyone here present know any reason that this club and I should not  be joined in holy union speak now or forever hold your peace.

Honestly tho, Chelsea are too strong this season for other teams. If it had any doubt the signing of Thiago Silva removed it outright. Will bring experience and quality to that faulty backline, just what a title winning team needs. And lol their young first team players last season who played so well have basically now become back up options. What a fcking fine window they have had. Hugely envious of them. Crying or Very sad Added to the fact that Lampard is a very decent manager, all signs point to them being the champions.

Share that view. Was reading the club profile previews and their pursuit of Havertz on The Atheletic (paywalled). They are primed to dominate starting 20/21 for at least 3-4 years and will be there or thereabouts.

I thought about buying a grey Leeds hoodie last season, but I am not sure whether as a Bayern fan, like you, I can support this thug club after what they did to our players in the 1975 EC final.
The hoodie was perennially sold out anyway

Chelsea won't be consistent and I would hazard the guess that they still won't be balanced. It's not just a matter of player quality, also the way Lampard sets the team up isn't as balanced as Klopp or Guardiola know how to do, will be interesting to see how he will evolve, but he's still very inexperienced.
They will lose too many games again, Thiago Silva or not, and they won't be champions for that.
Also, unless they have hired a new set piece coach, or the current coaching team really get their act together, they'll still concede far too many goals from free kicks and corners.

GK still a problem too. You don't win the league with an unsolved GK position.

But they will be great to watch!

I would love nothing more than to see the likes of Chelsea and City fail after spending gazillions. But I don't see that as likely. The caliber of the guys they have bought is really good.

there wasn't "too much on that" from Maitland Niles

that was a fantastic pass

Lacazette just couldn't sort it out in his brain
