Chelsea have decided that because they have Werner, they need to play the ball forward at every possible chance. The midfielders are on the fringes on the game because the ball is going back to front too quickly.

It’s only their first match of the season, and they’ve got quite a few, new players on the pitch. It’ll probably take a few matches for them to find their groove. Quite funny to see Brighton leading in possession, though.

Ya'll need to chill.

We were missing no less than 6 starters (Pulisic, Ziyech, Kovacic, Azpilicueta, Silva and Chilwell) and have literally played 2 pre-season games, one against Brighton and one internal one.

We were very rusty and still gelling as a team. We're going to be formidable once we get rolling.

I already alluded to this above. But hey, this is GL and you've been around long enough to know that people will knee-jerk anyway Smile

Nah I think Werner will start. He'll want to prove that Liverpool should have bought him.

Puli will probably miss it. Ziyech may be back and Kovacic will be back, so I think we'll be better than against Brighton.

Why is Bielsa regarded as the best strategic tactician in football? he is so highly rated for that everywhere, but why?

Also, if he is that brilliant, why has he not been very successful? at least in the past 10 yrs...

is it that he is unlucky or what?
