You are more likely to find barca representatives in the dumpster behind Costcos than negotiating a 100m deal.

I've summarized my impression of him at least once on here. I definitely think he's a bit overhyped by some people. I know Hans is a massive fan of his. I've seen him described as world class a few times, and I'd be surprised if someone on GL hasn't made that claim by now. I don't think he's world class, at all, but he does occasionally showcase glimpses of talent that would suggest that he can get there. Add to that his relatively young age, and I can understand why people hype him up.
He's a very good dribbler, and he also brings some flair. I think that's his greatest, most sustainable talent. On very, very rare occasions, he looks like an exceptional playmaker. He's so inconsistent in this regard, though, that I've always struggled to accurately rate his playmaking ability. His passing can look exceptional in one match, and largely average in the next 5. If you put some goodwill into it, you can see the silhouette of a world class playmaker in him, but he's absolutely not there, yet. He may have a higher ceiling in this regard, than most players do. And that makes him appealing.
Very mature in his decision-making, but ironically, he has a frustrating tendency to attempt to do everything by himself when the rest of his team are struggling to bring the ball up the pitch, quite similarly to a young CR7. And that's not necessarily a bad thing. Occasionally, it creates something out of nothing. However, I think he's most effective as a winger or playmaker, and I imagine his shot to goal ratio must be quite poor.
His long-distance shooting ability is, in my opinion, frustratingly poor, and I wish he didn't attempt it so frequently. He's scored some lovely curlers, but he also tends to fire a million shots into the stands from outside the box. It sometimes seems like he prefers to be a goalscorer rather than a provider, and I don't think that's something he's exceptionally good at.
There's a lot of potential in him, and from a Man United fan's point of view, that's a good sign for the future. He's young, and will likely only improve over time. I definitely think his skill set is more versatile compared to someone like, Rashford. He can dribble without relying on having a lot of space. Disregarding what he brings to the table right now, he may turn out to be a gem if he continues to improve. He's already very good when he's on form.

Elite player. Basically the next Messi. The move will put a dent into that though.

I have seen more talented attackers come out of BVB in the past 10 years only.
Vastly overhyped by Hans as usual. He is a good player, let’s leave it there

Interesting analysis man. Appreciated. Honestly, didnt know much about him apart from the fact that he is an exciting young player. Watching some of his highlights reel, he likes to dribble a lot, aint he, which I suppose is a good thing for us as none of our attackers barring Greenwood somewhat (and a soon to be out of favour Martial) are exceptionally good dribblers. So this flair thingy is welcoming for us, especially against teams that low block where Ole and his coaching staff have no clue what to do. So acquiring someone who can take on defenders will help our cause.
Anyway happy with the buy. 73 mil for Sancho is a neat deal I reckon. Even if he doesnt live up to the hype, we can recoup more than half of that I suppose considering his age.

73 is actually a very good price in this market for someone that talented and this young. The marketing value will cover it within the year alone.
He's going to tear up the Premiership.

Imagine selling Daniel James to replace him with a more expensive Daniel James (minus the speed)

Re: Jadon Sancho to Man United
I think Varane and Sancho are not what United fans thought.
although i must confess i have not seen much of Sancho in Bundesliga but what he has shown in United shirt is absolutely nothing lol. let's hope it's just a momentary thing.
and as for Varane i swear he has not been himself since the world cup. I'm afraid he is more of an OK defender than a world class one.

Well its a common yet usually correct assessment that most Bundesliga players that don't come from Bayern usually turn out to be frauds.
