Rashford as a lone striker? Justice for GL, I guess.

Re: Jadon Sancho to Man United
Watzke to SZ yesterday:
"There has been no offer for Sancho and there has not been any contact with Manchester United so far, neither directly nor through intermediaries of any kind.
We've made preemptively clear what sum we expect, and there's a deadline on the departure to the training camp come Monday - after that there will be no Sancho transfer this season."
DoF Zorc too said yesterday that he expects Sancho to come to the training camp and thus stay at BVB for the next season.
Whatever Man United have been doing, apparently it's not been negotiating with BVB.
Hope they're not talking to IMPOSTERS?!

Re: Jadon Sancho to Man United
Typical United. Refuse to pay the fee. The said player doesn't have time to gel with the squad. End up paying the fee or in the case of Fernandes pay more in a later date. Like clockwork :

They paid 80 mill for Harry Maldini who marks his own players in corners. I guess that set a precedent.

tbf to Harry he looked much better when he was playing for Leicester. Not sure if it is an issue of different tactics or just mentality issue of playing for a team with higher expectations and somehow not able to trust him teammates atm.

Re: Jadon Sancho to Man United
One way or the other hopefully this pisstake will come to a conclusion tomorrow. Its every fuickn time this same drivel with United. Incompetent buffoons. Its us fans who suffer even if we decide to not get involved, it gets forced down our throats, false reports upon false reports, by plebs who know nothing but still report cos they know United rumour mean more clicks and more attention.
Literally fed up. Dont care about Sancho. Only want some sanity ffs.
Anyway watch this drag on and on and like jibers said, we will end up paying 150 mil next January.

Re: Jadon Sancho to Man United
So, the deadline BVB have publicly set has passed, Sancho is on his way with the rest of the team to the Switzerland training camp, while reports from UK say that United see the August 10th deadline as "fabricated" (no shit) and that "Woodward does not see the August 10 deadline as a potential deal breaker." (https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8609625/Man-United-miss-Jadon-Sancho-deadline-boards-plane-Borussia-Dortmund-training-camp.html)
Well, it's not all up to him is it
Honestly, this is a hard one for Zorc, Watzke and BVB to step back from. They claimed publicly and repeatedly that, while they were ready to sell at 120m €, if the deal wasn't done by this morning, that would be it, Sancho would stay the season period.
They have to face their own fans, not to mention their shareholders since their publicly traded, too, after all.
And then just last week Hoeness put pressure on them with an interview claiming they're acting like a supermarket for young players which is why those players would never feel like belonging there and accordingly no trophies follow.
Now the BVB board are clowns too, and they're known to sell after proclamations to the contrary, but still this is a tough one.
They set themselves up for this, naming the date, calling it a dedline explicitly, I don't see how they can back down.
Think the deal is off. Woodward will keep trying of course, like he kept emailing Rummenigge about Müller. And maybe BVB will sell after all, it's a lot of money to turn down, and the deal has been expected to happen anyway. I just don't understand why you would be so dismissive about a deadline a negotiating partner sets?

Re: Jadon Sancho to Man United
Cos Woodward never likes doing the business the normal way. Its the same idiot who haggled on and on and end up paying 10 mil for Maguire after one year. If we do end up buying Sancho it would be definitely be for more money than that is reported right now.

Yeah.
If BVB even cave now, which I'm not sure they will after Zorc made that "definitive" statement today, it will definitively not be for LESS money lmao.
Top drawer strategic negotiating and bluff calling there by Utd

Re: Jadon Sancho to Man United
Honestly tho seeing Greenwood play, I can totally understand the club not caving into BVB's demands to meet some 'imaginary' deadline they have placed for this deal to go through. Kind of understandable why we arent keen on overpaying. Woodward and co arent desperate for the deal to go through, like they have been in the past with big players, fair enough. Hopefully now atleast they wouldnt piss about and not line up some backup options cos we definitely need new players. The ones who are after Martial, Rashford and Mason are roadrunner James, JLingz and Uncle Mata.

United have been linked with a move for Sancho throughout the summer, but missed an August 10 deadline set by the Bundesliga club for a deal to be completed.
Despite the Dortmund hierarchy having stated on multiple occasions - both before and after the deadline - that if it wasn't met Sancho would remain with the club, rumblings have continued over United submitting a bid before the transfer window closes on October 5.
"Time is running out for Manchester United to make an official move, and even if they do, Borussia Dortmund are simply not budging," Sheth told Sky Sports News' The Transfer Show. "I'm told today that United knew well in advance of an August 1 deadline to come to the table with regards to Jadon Sancho.
"That was extended to August 10 but United hadn't made any contact before that date. Instead, they focused on perceived issues surrounding agents fees and personal terms. Dortmund have consistently said that Sancho will play for them in the coming season.

He's not a 100M player. Wouldn't want the club to spend more than 50M. Let him rot in Germany.

Hope you're content with the 12m loan fee plus 25m obligation to buy Douglas Costa deal that is to come now
Or 50m for David Brooks, maybe?

Well, at least Gio Reyna at least got some relieve with that departure to start. Good buy for Utd tho, they got Rashford on the other side and can opt to play 1 or 2 strikers with these two on the sides

Utd got properly milked there. They could have signed the same player for the same money 1 year before. At least that would have helped him settle in that 1 year.

You are more likely to find barca representatives in the dumpster behind Costcos than negotiating a 100m deal.
