Thing about Gwood is that his all round game is pretty good, so in the future even when his finishing is off sometimes, he should still do well, unlike some of these kids who start bright and score a lot of goals and then just disappear. So, yea pretty confident about him making big Smile

Anyway it was defo not a penalty and Villa were the better team till then. Matic is being overplayed i reckon. This is one of the problems with Ole. He will just continue playing them same players and will wear them out. He has to start rotating now, bring Fred at HT or else I can see us only limping to a Europa league spot in the end eventho our fixture list looks kind.

Not a penalty, nevertheless United deserve their win. If they had played like this from the beginning of the season they'd be fighting with City over 2nd spot.

Future is bright.

I don't think United need Grealish.

They need a better LB, while Shaw has improved a lot since last season, he is still very meh. If Brandon Williams was left footed and more mature I would have seen him as the perfect replacement but he isn't there.

CB also needs to be strengthened. Maguire is shit, Bailly pre-injury + Lindelöf are better but I think the former's fate is similar to Umtiti. A young defender with a good future who will never be the same after injury.

And also Matić needs to be replaced. He is still class but he is slow and old.

What fans? My opinion was brushed off as Ole bias, when I said you needed a playmaker the most. Everyone else seemed to recognize  the CB position as the primary problem. Even Mou did. I suppose that last part should never come as a surprise hmm

Definitely a very soft penalty.

Haters will be saying Shaw need to be replaced or Martial didn't have a good game. Name me better players in these positions in world football right now and these will be the elite of elite names...

This R-M-G front 3 is becoming something special, no need to compare them amongst each other. If Sancho do come in, the amount of flexibility in this front line will be amazing.

Martial had a terrific game yesterday. My Motm. For the work done on him alone Ole deserves a lot of praise. He was doing all the dirty work of a typical 9 and its so much heartening to see commitment and hard work from someone like Martial who is quite a moody individual. He was even pissed when he was taken off in the 2nd half. Laughing

PL admits United's penalty should not have been given:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53357841

Even with a system which allows refs to double check, they're still making the wrong calls.

The refs here stick up for one another and won't overturn decisions if they can help it. That's the problem.

We're the best club in the league post BRUNO. Long will it continue tbh.

So long as the team stays healthy. Top 4 and EL are locked.

Can't wait for next season.

Can already tell Helmer knows it too.

CB and LB during the transfer window pls. But sadly Maguire is undroppable for the club I reckon. Guy is pants. Will gimp our def for the second couple seasons minimum. Bring back Smalling ffs.

next season should be fun i think. Liverpool will drop of pace, City will try to get back on top, United are making strides because their attack is finally clicking, Chelsea with the biggest summer investment so far, Arsenal will be contending top 4 if the refs don't fuck them over like they love to do Laughing

If Chelski add Havertz and Chilwell to their already impressively looking squad, title is their's to loose imo. Insane team they are going to have. Hopefully they will neglect their defense and gk and will continue letting in goals.

Next year will be City's year. This season was a hiccup plus a very good Liverpool team that won't repeat again.

United and Chelsea are too raw to win EPL.

City?.. nah mate. They need a major overhaul. Have Benjamin Mendy and Zinchenko as their left backs Laughing Midfield is shambles as well. Only Rodri is decent and most of them City fans are unhappy with Gundagon. As for forwards, Aguero is one year older and Jesus is well... shit. So, yea have to have a big transfer window for them to get back to their best. On top of everything if the CAS verdict dont go their way come Monday, then I can see both Pep and KdB leaving, further adding to their worries.

I don't think City need a major overhaul. They need a solid CB and possibly a LB. At LB you have Luke Shaw and Chelsea have Alonso so nothing to boast about at all. At CB you have Maguire ffs, I rather have Stones than that pleb.

Jesus is not shit, he is just very puny, a bit like Higuaín and needs to be pampered. Once he finds his rhythm he is one of EPL's most lethal strikers. Certainly more so than Abraham and Rashford. With Sané gone, City need a winger to replace him.

I am convinced Liverpool will run out of steam next season. No way you can play 'heavy metal football' season in season out. They might start next season well but slowly fatigue both mental and physical will creep in.

Also don't see how City's midfield is in shambles when they still have De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Foden.

Is Stones even playing for them anymore. Last time I checked Everton and Arsenal were looking to buy him (if rumours are to be believed). Re: LB I only said if Chelsea get Chilwell or someone of that ilk, they will be a force next season. Right now yea their options are not so good. Either way your point that City's gonna walk the league when they have got clear weaknesses in certain positions, like LB for example, is simply not adding up, you know. They have lost 9 games this season. Thats more than us and even Arsenal. Its only because the rest of the league barring Liverpool are trash, they are comfortably placed 2nd.

And Jesus is better than Rashford? hmm Well that would be a decent question for a poll here. Which one would you have rather as a neutral. A guy who single handedly carried our attack before his injury when no one else was there, no Pogba, no Mason no Bruno, who was even tipped to be worth a shout for top scorer in the league if not for his injury or a guy who cannot score on a consistent basis playing for a team that has got elite attacking midfielders behind him.

Also by midfield I was referring to holding midfielders or rather midfielders in the conventional sense of the term. Ofc they have got wc players in attacking midfield positions but what about the ones behind? They may be able to thrash small teams by playing Kdb in midfield and all but right now for city, one of their biggest problems as far as I have heard is the fact that when they play against biggish teams, they get no protection from the midfield. It was evident in the matches we played against them even this season.

Again these are things I have read from Bluemoon and City fans on twitter and all.
