the heck just checked serie a game schedules - 9 games next month on july??? wt ! there would be some serious injuries all over the place to players ... anyone knows if the pre-season won't exist and go straight to next season or there will be breaks? is it already announced or TBD?

There is a short break. Particularly difficult for CL teams since it's in August.

Playing every 3 days after a long break in this summer heat will have everyone exhausted. Basically no training, only playing matches. We have already seen Alex and De Sciglio injured, unclear on the situation with Matuidi.

thats really silly and i even forgot about summer heat ...
is serie a team doing this because of fear of not getting payout from tvs or other sport contractual obligations? cuz its seriously messed up - kinda glad that 5 player subs are approved but even then its incredibly dangerous ....

lazio trying hard but fiorentina putting lot of body at the back and defending quite well and hitting them fast in counter - though ribery / cutrone chemistry isnt working well
fiorentina is really missing chiesa's pace here ... they could have also have vladovic do some damage .... cutrone is easily owned by acerbi atm

luis alberto splits defense - sets up immobile  but shot on goal wonderfully saved by Drągowski the rebound meanwhile horrendously skied by bastos on empty goal XD this would have been worse than Gagliardini  if not flagged for offside

- Fiorentina putting lot of bodies at the back and hitting on counterattack fast
- Most danger or the only danger coming from ribery / cutrone sucking atm
- Defense for fiorentina holding up well and compact really stopping immobile luis alberto caisedo savic
- big danger from Lazio is coming from right flank - lazzari with his pace and crossing ; dalbert really forced to stay back more than helping ribery

lazio atm is trying hard but they really need to split that fiorentina defense - maybe correa pace could help but seems fiorentina is just happy putting more body back and hitting them on counter. fiorentina needs a finisher really cutrone aint one ..

referee gave lazio very soft penalty and that contributed win. Fioretina meanwhile has to blame themselves for not taking early advantage in first half. ribery was the only person doign everything upfront. defensively lazio huffed and puffed and finally broke fiorentina's back

from fiorentina's perspective its painful to see a team that has some very good players and yet they are looming in relegation zone ...
they really need  a very good finisher upfront ; creating is not that much of a problem for fiorentina ; the whole time cutrone was on the pitch, ribery was drifting from left to center to the right and back and fort and couldnt combine ONCe with cutrone. again cutrone is getting games but he is not taking advantage.

clear dive indeed because caisedo failed to control ball then dived to make it look like he was fouled ; Drągowski didnt make any contact whatsoever.
poor refereeing is norm in serie A ; that VAR is as good as being non-existent
