What are you guys' opinions on Jadon Sancho? I don't know if there's anyone else here who's been watching Dortmund fairly regularly in recent time (Hans?)

Very talented and reasonably the most sought after youngster at the moment.
It'll be interesting to see how he adapts when he loses his speed or more so teams who adapt to his somewhat predictable style but but what he has done for Dortmund and at this age is nothing short of spectacular.

Re: La Liga 19/20 - The new Era
I’m a bit torn when it comes to rating Sancho. On one hand, I respect his talent and potential. He’s a great dribbler with very good speed, his technique is very good as well, and he shows flashes of creative brilliance on occasion. He’s also only 20 years old.
On the other hand, I imagine he would find it difficult to quite have the same impact at a different club, mainly because Dortmund’s playing style allows him a lot of freedom and time on the ball, which in turn allows him to play to his strengths. His vision or ability to spot runs ranges from exceptional to below par, and this may be a controversial opinion, but goals and assists aside, his sustainable quality doesn’t strike me as all that impressive, even when his statistics may suggest otherwise.
To put his current circumstances into context, he was liability-level awful in Dortmund’s thrashing of relegation bound, Paderborn last month. He wasted possession countless times, missed multiple great runs behind the defenders by his team mates and showcased his, in my opinion, quite unimpressive mid to long- distance shooting ability by missing the target from positions where passing the ball would’ve ensured much higher chances of scoring goals.
It’s the end result that counts, of course. And he was widely praised for the hattrick he scored, in a match where also fullback, Marcel Schmelzer scored his first goal in 5+ years. I can’t help but feel that, despite his occasional, high- quality performances, Dortmund tend to look more cohesive when he doesn’t play. At the same time, his positive contributions at Dortmund are magnified, while his weaker sides seem to be swept under a rug. It reminds me a bit of Coutinho at Liverpool.

Meanwhile, down in Vigo, Rafinha and co put a proper beating on Alaves which was a far better viewing than whatever is happening with Newcastle and Sheffield.

Goal by Januzaj ruled out as off-side. Still RM 1-0 RS.

1-2 FT. Real become favorites for the league, hard to see how they could screw this up

Reals title, congrats.
Their defending has been great this season for the most part, I dont think thats mentioned much. Zidane is definitely the key though, as usual brings the best and keeps everyone happy while getting results.

Exactly. I just feel it's my duty to point out injustice and corruption when I see them.
And I'm very neutral about Real Madrid, easily as neutral as @farfan is
