Re: Arsenal vs Chelsea
Luiz-Chambers would have been preferable anyways.
Nelson starts again. Which i don't mind.

Re: Arsenal vs Chelsea
Six points off the relegation zone now.
For thirty minutes Arsenal looked good. Then they became entirely concerned with seeing out the game and not getting a second goal, which is always dangerous with the players they have. The team was gassed by the 60th minute.
2-1 down and there was zero reaction. Played out the most pointless seven minutes of stoppage time ever.
I don't know where the next win is coming from tbh. It's miserable.

Our fixtures don’t get easier, in fact we played the easiest games under Bumery
We’re in a relegation scrap, not even a joke anymore.

People keep saying it has to get worse until it gets better... i thing the worse is past hopefully.
Arsenal need to spend money on proper defenders.

Re: Arsenal vs Chelsea
Mentally they are far behind the present world. One of the two defenders should have closed down/brought down Abraham just to break the move. But both started running behind. Chelsea made about 7 or 8 tackles in first half to break us down before we could conjure anything which got them 3 yellows. Our first foul of the match earned guendouzi a yellow card.
Also Arteta did nothing when the game started to slip away. Nothing changed whatsoever. All we did was to hoof the ball back to chelsea for them to attack again and when a team has 12 13 shots they are bound to score a few goals given our defense.
Laca had 2 good chances. Auba had a few. Willock had one as well which should have been finished.
One good thing is torriera. Although he is not suited to mark people at defensive set pieces. But his open play in breaking things up is good. Passing is average but I am more comfortable with him covering the defence then any other.

Re: Arsenal vs Chelsea
I thought our forward line lost us the game, not the defense.
Lacazette and Nelson needed to be subbed off after 70 mins. They had nothing left. Every time we tried to play out of defense, they weren't available for an out ball and Chelsea just came back time and time again.
And how many times did the attackers just run into a corridor with no support around him, and then just keep running trying to win a foul...There's such a huge disconnect in our front line.

Re: Arsenal vs Chelsea
I would take heart from this game. Some of the best play Arsenal have put together in a while came from the game today, and at the end of the day it would probably be Arsenal walking out with 3 points if the ref had any balls and gave Jorginho the second yellow he deserved.
Unbelievable decision that cost you guys.
