There were two really close offside calls given by the linesman against Brighton today when it was still 0-0. But no replays were shown, and believe they were really tight calls, the ones usually shown by the VAR screen - but today it wasn't.
Idk what PGMOL is but I've actually noticed this. When I watch Pool games I've seen a reluctance to show close offside calls. I'm sure they're checking them and if they were wrong they would be reversed (or I would hope), but damn it if I'm not getting the opportunity to see for myself at home.
you would hope.

Wow, Norwich attacking Arsenal with such confidence like the Gunners are a mid table team...

Honestly how many of Arsenal players are actually good enough to play for a top team.
I like Aubameyang and Lacazette. I think they are Arsenal's best players, especially Aubameyang, too good for a mid-table team. He could easily play at any top team.
Torreira I also like. I think he is both talented and very hard working. An all round good player. Plays well deep as well as further forward.
From the young ones I think Tierney and Martinelli are worth keeping. The rest look Crystal Palace level.

Outside of Aubameyang and Lacazette?
Not a single one, at all. Arguing otherwise is reaching.

lacazette isn't great either. Auba is not world class but just a tier below that. Rest are quite poor.

Re: 2019/2020 Premier League Discussion: Chapter II
Arsenal's squad isn't just bad for its lack of quality, but it's horribly balanced, too.
Aubameyang and Lacazette have been the two best performers in the last couple of seasons, but they're both out-and-out strikers, not link-up strikers. So playing them as a front two is difficult because you're asking one (usually Lacazette) to be a link-man or runner and it's not his strength. But you can't justify leaving one out because everyone isn't up to standard.
To play them together, Arsenal can play 4-4-2, a diamond, or 3-5-2, but there are problems in each case. The squad lacks the quality wide players for a 4-4-2; it lacks the quality midfield players to justify a diamond; and there's not one good centre back in that squad, so why the hell would you play with three? 433 and 4231 are their only choices but the lack midfield quality is still a huge issue. Ozil is the only creator but he's past it. Torreira is the only holder and he's limited by his size and pace.
The decision to spend 70m on Pepe looks poorer by the game. He's flopping while the midfield and defence cries out for quality.

GOAL! MAN UTD 2-2 ASTON VILLA (Mings, 66)
Mings smashes it home but VAR is checking it... It stands and Aston Villa are level two minutes later!
Targett floats a superb cross into the area, taking out a whole cluster of players towards the top of the area. Mings is the man to pull away from the pack and he hooks it home with a superb finish, but doesn't celebrate as he knows a check is coming.
The replays show he is well onside and there's nothing wrong with that.

More points dropped and I think Ole should be getting the sack too.
If remember SAF's United correctly, his team used to always come back from behind, this team seems to always screw up when they're leading.

Is there a reason Grealish seems to be so disliked by the general English population or is it his peaky blinders haircut?
Personally I rate him and should be in the squad for the Euros.

I cannot imagine Grealish playing ahead of Rashford, Sterling or Sancho.
