Is it just me or the forum traffic is really low for last two days? I understand Hans and Helmut is enjoying the Oktoberfest (perhaps a bit too much), but what about the other guys?

Yeah it's hard to fault Mills' selection there, and i usually can't wait to disagree with him

How would they do that in the middle of October

So Liverpool are completely smashing Man Utd and they sack Ole afterwards

Yea the pressure from a loss here will be too much for Ole to escape. The cowards will bow down to that and will sack him first thing in the morning.
Legit max we can get here is a draw. If so he may survive, dont know. Anyway dont care about that half arsed mercenary Pogba but ddg will be a miss. Romero is decent but nowhere near the level United fans rate him.

As always, the game will not be such a clear affair as people predict. Liverpool have a bad record at Old Trafford. Draw is more likely than a Liverpool win IMO

Possible if heavy metal Kloppo decides to go with a similar approach as last season’s game. And Pool can be relatively happy with a draw too may be. That being said, if they score within the 1st 20 minute or so, they could murder us really.
Anyway one can only hope.

Tuanzebe can be do what Static is supposed to be doing and more. Send the latter to some old age home. Would rather play Ashley young tbh.
Less said about Lingard better. So, give the young kid Angel a chance in no.10. Rashford is atrocious, but only cos the rest of the choices are even more awful, lol he can play.

My thinking is that of United as a wounded animal backed into a corner. This is United's make or break game, where jobs and careers will be on the line and something has to give. United are due a shocking big game victory this season and I have a sneaky suspicion this will be itUnique wrote:you let me down. how can i trust you now its like i dont know who you are anymore.Lex wrote:I'm sticking a tenner on United squeaking out a win over Liverpool. Honestly, this team wouldn't look out of place battling the likes of Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton Athletic for a top half finish in the championshipGlory wrote:Romero

Re: 2019/2020 Premier League Discussion: Chapter II
So nobody has done the double over Liverpool since Klopp has been in charge
City had the chance last season,if not for Mahrez penalty miss
but then again they made up 7 points last season
next 4 games could be make or break for title race

Everything goes out of the window, its United vs Liverpool at OT.
I expect a very cagey affair with United dominating for large parts of the game.
I would expect a win but I guess Ill be satisfied with a draw.

Exactly, but I wouldn't mind Liverpool thrashing Utd and Ole getting the sack.
Utd will just replace him with Mourinho after failing to get Allegri.

December's TV fixtures have been announced. Nobody is happy.
Game are kicking off at 20:15 on a Thursday night for some bizarre reason.
Liverpool fans have to travel to Leicester for an 20:00 kick-off on Boxing Day. United fans have to travel to Arsenal for an 20:00 kick-off on New Year's Day.
Amazon Prime will be showing a round of mid-week games, so that's yet another company having influence over kick-off times.

Don't see how that's convenient for anybody. But it does make your graveyard shift damn profitable. The sorry state of global football. I wonder if a government would have survived if it did something as ridiculous.

Right! I get Lex's sneaky feeling, I had that for a brief moment but the reality is Utd are really terrible and usually, terrible teams continue being terrible regardless of the circumstances.
With that said, 1-0 to Utd and about 4 VAR decisions going against Liverpool.
