Balkan footballers

Players from the Balkans are very talented. They are very present in the top four European leagues and, they are particularly key players in the top 4 clubs in Serie A. The Balkans produce great players notwithstanding economic wealth or population. They, the footballers, seem to have both physical strength and ability on the ball.

It's not just football though, Balkan nations a lot of times have strong teams/athletes in many sports. Basketball, Handball, Tennis, Combat you name it.

Hagi aside, it's kind of a shame that the best Balkan player of recent time represented Sweden
