Our entire team has been shit this season, some more than others (Modric, Asensio, Ramos, won't even mention Benz since shit is his equilibrium), and no one is blameless certainly not Varane.

Anyway, good bye Lopetegui- I wish him the best, and I know he will succeed the next job he takes. Unfortunately he lost the dressing room, it is evident that the players aren't playing for him anymore.

The issue with the defense is the space between the midfield and the back 4... and the fact that Bale and Isco (and Asensio) don't defend the wings at all so fullbacks overlapping kill us.

Lope's design just doesn't fit this squad.

We need the wide midfielders to cover the fullbacks while making the strikers to cover the midfield however they can. That's what ZZ realized very quickly.
