They are significantly worse without Curry, this isn't new information tbh.

Whole team is built around him, as great Durant is and isolation he's a better player but he doesn't have Curry's gravity, playmaking and therefore the offence doesn't have the same flow.

Doesn't help that Kerr is a very arrogant and stubborn coach during the regular season and puts up line ups that make no damn sense with limited spacing.

Durant is the better player, but yeah with the way the team is built Curry might be the more important player for the team.

It probably doesn't help that Klay is like 34% from three on the year, Draymond hasn't been great, and their depth is at an all time low. Durant is taking less threes and hitting them at a lower clip.

The most important thing is it's early in the season and it's regular season. This doesn't matter much and everyone knows it.

This Golden slump without Curry isn't looking great on Klay, imo. His FG and 3P percentages seem to go way down if he has to create offense for himself instead of catching and shooting.

Klay is taking the most midranges in the league lol.

The way the offence is being run, part of it is no Curry and part of it is Kerr not giving a fuck is really hurting Klay.

I think he might be fine with these losses if his role/bench players were doing OK, but it's gotta be a bit worrying to see how 3rd-rate his bench looks. Then again they'll have Cousins when it matters, he alone might make these bench concerns moot.

He's pretty much known for really weird line ups which make no sense till it matters.

Hell even in the playoffs he did it up to a point until he knew he couldn't get away with it any longer.
