Serie A isn’t the best by any means but it’s at a similar level to PL, and in the last 3-5 years top Serie A teams have been outperforming top PL teams. So this is certainly deserved.

Besides, Italy will probably fall further behind England next season when 14/15 points expire

Re: Serie overtakes EPL in the Uefa Coeficient, now in second place with La Liga in first place.
Have they? Have Serie A teams really been outperforming top PL teams in Europe? In the CL, until Roma last season, only Juventus actually reached beyond the QFs in that specific 3-5 year span (2012-2013 to 2017-2018). Chelsea, City and Pool did it once. Europa, well, it's kinda the same. Napoli and Lazio reached at least the semis while Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester Utd did it.
Serie A teams is doing well in Europe so far this season so I guess it's all good.

Purely because of that "fraud team" that every other Italian team hates, Juventus. The irony.
Great to see England got the most points last season, our time to rule UEFA will come again, calma.

Juve carries the league in Europe and sometimes Roma gives a bit of help. Napoli didn't care about CL last season but they would have done nothing as always.
Milan don't even qualify and Inter need a rules revamp to be part of the competition.
Not sure if those rankings are useful, to me they mean nothing just like the Fifa world ranking. Just a task for statisticians.

You are posting the rankings before the last round of games in Europe. Italy has now overtaken the EPL in the rankings. Nice try though.
"UEFA released their league rankings today and, due to all four Italian clubs winning their Champions League games this week, and only Manchester City winning from the four Premier League clubs, Italy has eclipsed England.
Juventus and Roma picked up easy victories beating Young Boys and Viktoria Plzen 3-0 and 5-0 respectively. Inter Milan managed to come back from 1-0 down to PSV to win, just two weeks after their comeback victory against Tottenham Hotspur and Napoli managed to beat Liverpool 1-0 thanks to a late goal from Lorenzo Insigne.
Spain are currently far ahead at the top, on 89.283 points; with Italy second on 67.440 points. England rank third with 67.177 points, Germany fourth with 61.784 points and France fifth on 51.998 points."

They are more than useful, they are critical, they determine how many teams a league gets in the CL and EL. Sheesh.

No, the spots are decided by the coefficient. The allotment was just shuffled around. 5th place is where the drop off starts now.

It's not.
This was actualized on the morning of Thursday, 4th. ("Letzte Aktualisierung: 04.10.2018 08:27 ")
Obviously there were EL games later the day, which are not yet in there.
I linked the up to date table above, here it is. Italy is not longer 2nd.

Your ignorance and jealousy is blinding you. The only rankings that count are UEFA's and the most current. Italy has overtaken the EPL. That's just a fact, no sense being silly about it. Stop posting old rankings from an orgainzation that doesn't count with respect to UEFA team assignment. In fact you better watch out that France doesn't pip you for the fourth spot.
Notice the update date and time, you silly man. Keep digging. LMAO

No, the spots are decided by the coefficient. The allotment was just shuffled around. 5th place is where the drop off starts now.
What i meant is, it changes nothing if you are 3rd or 2nd since every top league gets 4 spots. I don't see Serie A dropping below Bundesliga and certainly not Ligue 1. So this ranking won't have an effect until many years, to me it's irrelevant.
Tbh i even doubt Serie A is a better league overall as it seems the worst teams in PL are a level better than our Serie A dross Chievo, Frosinone, Bologna...

Are you for real? Do you understand the concept of time and date?
Thursday, 4th October, 8:27 in the morning? You are aware that EL games happened later that day?
Or was Lazio getting smashed by Franfurt too hard to take for your brain?
Once again: the table oon UEFA's website is NOT up to date.
Italy had overtaken England from Wednesday night to Thursday afternoon, but not anymore.
Are you getting this?
Morning? Earlier? Evening? Later?
This is absolutely amazing
