Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
Something is missing from Liverpool. They have top players they play great football and catch them at the right time and they can ruin any team in the world but in the big games v the big teams we always seem to come up short. We were flying at the start of the season then these 2 big important games come up v Chelsea and we lose one and a lucky goal gets us a late draw in the other. We came up short when the pressure was on yet again. The Liverpool team will entertain people this season and will win lots of games but I think we will finish the season without a trophy yet again.

^ Jesus....wow
Imagine being so negative after the best ever start by the team to PL era, where the front 3 aren't even playing at 15% of their capacities, and us having conceded the fewest goals in the league and already played in 4 of the most difficult away grounds in the country that strike fear to any opponent...Selhurst, King Power, Wembley and Bridge.
You can't even use the "Allardyce will make us defend better" line either, since we have statistically the best defense in the league so far...so I guess next it'll be: "Marco Silva would have us scoring more goals" ...
On a sane note:

Can't tell if Unique is serious We had a lot of great chances and it would have been undeserved if we lost to Chelsea today, and we played at their ground. We conceded a goal by the most in form player in the league.
Keita showed in 15 minutes today that he has more creativity than any of our midfielders, he is great whenever he gets the chance to play. Milner, Gini and Hendo are all great players to have but they are too similiar, with 3 of them at the same time we lack the creativity. The sooner Klopp starts playing Keita and Fabinho the better.
Van Dijk is world class, so is Alisson. Unfortunately, our right side of the defence is much weaker than our left side. TAA can be great offensively but he was caught out by Hazard today, that's why I would start Clyne in these games who is a great defensive fullback, Clyne was great vs Chelsea in the cup a few days ago. Gomez is still too young.
Overall it was a great match for the spectators, I think people enjoyed it. This has to be match of the season so far if you ask me.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
Our attack has been wasteful this season, that is worrying. We just can't finish our chances. What was our strongest weapon last season, now just isn't working.
I have to say though, Fekir was a big miss in the summer. I think a player like him could be a great player to have in this team. Ox's injury is a big miss as well. It wouldn't hurt to play Keita more often either. Anyone creative in midfield would help.

I gotta applaud Sarri as well. I can't remember when I last saw a team adapt so fast to a new manager. He can do great things with this Chelsea side.

Could our lack of goals be a consequence of our new found defensive improvement.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
I don't know, could be anything.
We didn’t hit top gear until late October/November last season. Before that, in the first 7 games, we had 11 points, one more than what United currently has. People were talking about whether Klopp needed to be fired or not. In the first 10 games, we had 16 total points. Losses to Spurs and City, draws to United, Watford, Newcastle, and Burnley.
We’re building on last season. We’re not at full strength yet and we’re level with a record breaking City team that has played nothing but relegation fodder while we been away to Spurs and Chelsea. I don't expect to win the title, but seeing us improve season after season and being competitive is good after watching Liverpool being shit for so many years.
But on the other side, it's not a good sign our attack hasn't hit top gear yet after 7 games, but seeing us still come out with great results is a sign of improvement, and we haven't unleashed Keita and Fabinho yet. It's still too early to say anything, the season is not 7 games long.

A direct message by McAgger:
"Shaq should have just smashed that sitter with his left. It was right into his stride. No idea why he let it roll into his weaker foot."
Looks like his style of posting has changed since leaving GL =(

Some people find it entertaining watching youtube videos of people getting hurt, but I will not forgive or forget neither his hype threads spelling career death to promising players nor the "Lewandowski will win Bayern the CL" thread.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
It surely is no coincidence that Liverpool enjoy their best spell in decades at the very same time Mc Agger is not posting here.
Imagine what would have happened with Trent Alexander Arnold, Joe Gomez, Robertson, or Salah for that matter
Especially our Liverpool posters should be careful what they whish for

I thank you and apologize tbh, I just miss McAgger tbh.
When you are here for 8 years you start caring less and less about actual intelligent debate because mostly it's repeat subjects.
