Our attack is not clynical at all this season. The midfield is the least of our worries, it's our attack.

This is why I was the only one that thinks we should have treated the lge cup with a bit more respect. People acting like we can afford to over look that cup like we are a team that wins titles every season. We ain’t won anything for god knows how many years and the first 2 big games we play this season we come up short yet again.

I wouldn't worry about it too much tbh. Your forwards aren't in great form but you're still making chances. They'll get better as the season goes if you keep playing this well.
It's only game seven after all. No need to give up just yet.

it’s funny really because all the different managers Liverpool have had. All the money spent. All the hard work that’s gone into trying to win a title and we see scrub teams like Leicester city win it and we don’t come closeHapless_Hans wrote:maybe you can swap with United for Mourinho

let's not forget that Sturridge also scored an absolute stunner in an Europa League final, before Moreno and Mignolet went on to ruin it for everyone

I think it's really, really difficult to win a league campaign against a settled Guardiola team and it will probably not happen, but if anyone can do it it could well be Klopp.
Of course, Sarri is no joke and his points per game record at Napoli has been so sensational that he must be taken seriousy as an absolute top coach, like Conte was.

On paper, we stole a point. Chelsea deserved to win it.
Sturridge, goal of the season ffs. Out of *bleep* nothing, exactly what he used to do when he was fit. I literally forgot he had that in his *bleep* locker.

Sturridge, wow, saved a point for us with what could be Liverpool's goal of the season already. He's making a case for getting a start in the Prem.
Last season's Salah would have scored the difficult first-half 1-on-1 and Shaqiri's miss was really bad, but Sturridge, just wow.

Shaqiri mane salah firmino chances? 3 of those chances were 100% chances. We could have scored more easily. Our attack has not been in sync this season at all.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
I agree with Unique.
Klopp has this bubble deflecting all criticism put on by a lot of people as if he was working miracles at Liverpool.
He has finished 8th, 4th and 4th. It's been 3 seasons, 6 transfer transfer windows and a ton of money spent. Making Liverpool a title contender is really difficult of course and it looks like he is finally doing it, but it took 3 years and this is still hypothetical.
The Mourinho that we all rightfully make fun of beat him last season. A smaller team, Spurs, beat him every season. Chelsea was finished, revived by Conte and won the league in the first season. Rainieri won the league with Leicester city when Klopp was there.
These things matter. His charisma can only take him so far, Liverpool needs to start winning. At the very least they need to make the podium. His squad is better than Chelsea's and he got 1 loss and 1 draw vs them so far and got kicked out of a cup already.
He is doing a good job, but let's stop acting like he is a god and Unique is crazy for criticizing him.

Liverpool talking about the winning title is same as Sampdoria talking about winning the title, we last won in the 1980s. Just because we finish 2nd once every 10 years doesn't mean a manager is going to come in and magically make us win the title. We Liverpool fans don't have that agenda, I don't understand why other fans do. Unique has seen many trophies so he's correct to have that agenda or hope.
Leicester winning the PL was a one off, won't happen for a long time.
