Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
That half was played at walking pace and both teams were turning the ball over every ten seconds, but at least we got a funny little goal. Surely the 2nd half is going to provide a bit more action.

Our defence became our strongest part of the team.
Could've been more than 1 tbh, I hope those missed chances don't come back to bite us.

This Spurs midfield
Dembele has one good game in about 30. One trick pony. One of the biggest reasons Belgium didn't do much against France.
Dier Belongs in Cardiff's team at best.
Winks is another Lewis Holtby.
Liverpool are not even playing that well. Still should have been 3 up.

I didn't watch the first 20 minutes but it's been mostly all Spurs from what i've seen tbh.
Liverpool with that smash and grab that Klopp the Underdog wants.

he can't finish and he can't pass though, that's his career right there. a lot of talent and he did nothing with it. he impressed vs united, so the universe needs to balance it now with a series of scrub gamesGreat Leader Sprucenuce wrote:Lucas should have scored smh.

Son and Lamela have already done more than the entire Spurs midfield the rest of the match

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
Three chances in a row now where Salah completely ignored his teammates and went for the goal himself. There's nothing wrong with trying score yourself when you're in a good position. But if somebody else is in a better position, there's no need to be selfish, pass the ball.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
tbf there were also some chances where Mane should've passed to Salah and went for goal himself. Every goalscorer is a little selfish. Otherwise you get the Iniesta types that pass even with an open net.

Congrats to Liverpool, fully deserved victory. These are the games you have to win if you want to win the league, and they have surely made their intentions clear with this victory.
It's too early to say anything, but imagine if Klopp delivers them the title they have failed to win since 1989. Holy..

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
I don't like the winning version of Mourinho too much. It's all sunshine and rainbows when he's winning. He doesn't pick fights, doesn't blame the referees for anything and is generally respectful.
It's when he's losing that the comedy gold comes to the surface. I hope Watford wins today cause that post-game press conference is going to be brutally funny

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
Spurs robbed as they should have had a penalty at the end.
But they didn't deserve anything. Spurs were dreadful
Liverpool were pretty bad too, I think, but helped that Vorm gifted them a couple goals.
Terrible match from both teams who were really unimpressive
