The fact you think it's not much different to the Arkham Combat system tells me you didn't explore the depth of it very much.

There's way more going on here than those games which are very simplistic by comparison.

The challenges are unlocked once you finish act 2 of the story iirc.

Takes a long time until you get there.

Finished it ( the story at least I still have some side stuff)

Love nearly everything about it tbh, the combat is really, really good and has way more going on than you think at the beginning.

Story and characters involved was much, much better than I expected and I thoroughly enjoyed it. (Probably more then any Spiderman film lol)

Traversal is absolutely amazing, I could genuinely just swing and the city and do nothing else and for quite a long time I did.

The only nitpick criticisms I could have is the puzzles are not that fun tbh and there maybe too many collectibles tbh but considering they are optional it's not too much of an issue.

You loved the MJ and Miles sections? Yikes

I said almost although I didn't really have a problem with them.

Miles segments probably annoyed me more out of the two though.

Mainly just hated the Rhino part. Worst part of the game.

Liked Mary Jane missions. Liked all the backstory we got through them. Mainly in the Osbourne penthouse.

Only hated the look of her animation. She didn't look beautiful enough imo. She looked like a 12 year old and it was weird animation.

Platinumed this.

Story was really good, so were most of the side missions. Criticism falls on the repetitive things you need to do to complete all districts. Five thug crimes+base in each district, okay cool. Then demon crimes plus base, umm yeah I can live with that. And then prisoners AND sable

Other than that, loved the game. The three best SP games of the year I played are all PS4 exclusives which is crazy (God Of War, Spider-Man, Shadow Of The Colossus).

Story fell rushed for me, you barely had any boss fights and the one with Rhino/Scorpion was annoying as hell.

Other than that, the game is cool, I liked doing the challenges/side missions/fighting thugs or swinging around the city/exploring more than doing the story missions.

Coming to PS4 which is great news for those who aren't buying PS5 at launch.

It looks exactly the same as Spiderman, you can see its an expansion not a sequel.
