Not sure if this was discussed but PSG are working very hard to sign Kante. They have not agreed a deal yet but working at it to convince him returning to ligue 1 but with PSG is a move forward

exactly what PSG might not work with what Kante and Chelsea want. But the story is that they are trying and meeting with his agent who favors the move more than Kante

Talking about agent, Areola's former agent was on French radio yesterday talking about how Raiola is trying to move him to Napoli to get his commission, despite PSG being Areola's career dream. They don't want to sell despite getting Buffon but Mini gotta get paid lol.

Not exactly true. Areola said in a pre-WC interview that he won't stay at PSG if he's not the #1 keeper. Asked for assurances and didn't get it from PSG after the season. So this is coming from him more than likely... not a fan of Raiola, but I don't think this is entirely true. He's a fan of PSG... but he's a bigger fan of himself.

His contract expires in 2019 and he's refused extension that PSG has tried to get since last summer.

Monaco just paid 20 mil for a 16 year old french youth international that hasn't even signed a pro contract yet (just happened as part of his transfer to Monaco). Talented kid for sure as he's done really well in youth France NT teams.... but 20 mil for someone who hasn't played a pro game yet at any level feels excessive.

THAT SAID, the same was the case for Martial and Mbappe. So Monaco must really see something in this kid.

Poor Lyon lol. Their academy has gotten pillaged recently. Martial, Plea and now Geubbels.

Pretty standard stuff, most clubs will check the background of a player for character stuff etc etc.

It's just not mentioned in Daily Mirror usually Laughing
