Who will qualify? (Select two teams)
Re: World Cup (2018) - Group F (Germany, South Korea, Mexico, Sweden)
If we manage a draw v Germany I fully believe in our chances of beating Mexico in the lasr game. They punched above their weights against Germany. They aren't that good

2-0 game over
Nice counter. S Korea too open. Feel sorry for their keeper. The only good player in that team

i would argue that getting a draw vs Germany after their loss in the first round would also be punching way above your weight.halamadrid2 wrote:If we manage a draw v Germany I fully believe in our chances of beating Mexico in the lasr game. the difference, they actually won, they won it on the pitch and they are through, you can't disrespect them like that.
we will see what you can manage

S Korea lack discipline. Their players are just slide tackling left right and centre. No composure on the ball

And this Barca scrub has just come on to tackle anyone with a white shirt. Awful

No disrespect just the truth. And now they just gave up a 1v1 from an error. We don't have half the international pedigree of Germany. A draw/win is unlikely but doable considering our history of doing well against the big teams. If we win it's going to be from a lucky goal and if we draw it's goinf to be from and Iran/Iceland esque defending. I have never claimed otherwise.

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group F (Germany, South Korea, Mexico, Sweden)
South Korea have lots of energy, especially that #10 guy was all around the place. Talent is lacking however. They lost because they were just too shite, no technique, no football awareness.
Splendid goal by H M Son, only player who's worth it.

With better coaching I think S Korea would do really well. Technique is there but IQ is not. Constantly made the wrong choices over and over. If they had better composure in the final third they would've gotten something out of this game. Outside of the goal Son was just as terrible as the rest

It wasn't a penelty imo.
Looking abit easy for Germany right now but I doubt the game itself will be easy.

That was a clear pen , Why didn't the ref ask for the replay at least. Talk about " big team advantage "

World cup cant afford Germany going home this early.
Sweden wont get any help. They need to bury a chance.

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group F (Germany, South Korea, Mexico, Sweden)
Not stonewall, but definitely should have been a pen... although seen these not given, Germany were very lucky.
I just looked up Germany's friendlies record prior to the tournament and they have been very average, just a 2-1 win vs a weak team, and loss, and draws, so they have been good for a while it seems?
They certainly have a lot of weaknesses so far in this WC.
