That Brazil defense shouldn't scare anyone.

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group E (Brazil, Serbia, Costa Rica, Switzerland)
That was a foul on Mitrovic in the box
If it was a lesser team instead of Brazil, that goal wouldnt have stood
Biggest problem with VAR atm is the inconsistency in its use. Same standard should apply for all teams.

There is not a single team this tourney whose defense has looked great, 0. Not sure if it's a valid criteriasportsczy wrote:That Brazil defense shouldn't scare anyone.

How in the world is it a foul?
Miranda just ran and someone jumped into him. Never a foul

And France. Denmark has a shout too. And tbh, defenses have been mostly very good. Midfield play hasn't been that great.

Dont know about Denmark, Peru didn't score yes but they couldn't handle waves of Peruvian attacks. inb4Freez

Brazil will win the whole thing imo, they just need to find a replacement for Willian

They'll start blowing teams away if they replace Jesus with Firmino. Coutinho, Willian and Neymar will find acres of space around the box as Firmino will keep dropping deep taking away 1 or 2 defenders constantly.

I'm here.
Peru barely had a shot on goal. Couldn't handle that sideways passing.

That was a midfield problem... not a back 4 problem. The back 4 stayed solid under extreme duress.
Midfield play has been poor overall in this WC. That's why the games are so competitive to a large extent... and the fact that defenses are very organized.

Oh yeah I forgot about Firmino, why isn't he starting ffs. Jesus done absolutely nothing in all 3 games
It's a shame Costa got injured aswell, if he remained fit they'd have an even bigger chance.
Anyway, Brazil is the only team I've been impressed by I think. They look best prepared and organized.

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group E (Brazil, Serbia, Costa Rica, Switzerland)
congrats to Nick for winning the derby della Sergej the Mediocre
Poor match from him, still don't agree with him playing in a deeper role. He showed a few nice moments in Serbia's best period of the game in the second half, just before they conceded but that's how it goes

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group E (Brazil, Serbia, Costa Rica, Switzerland)
I thought this Brasil team would have looked more dominant by now. They've been decent, but nothing special. Costa's injury is bad news and if Marcelo is now injured that's very unlucky for them.

I'm not sure Peru being bad at finishing chances can be attributed to your great defense

Closing off the angles only leaving them to shoot straight at the GK is good defending
GL peeps to amazed by sideways passing is nothing new really.
Can't wait until we hit our level against Croatia and run them off the field.
