Is it just me? It looks like both Nacho and Lucas have greatly improved this year to be an integral part of team, not just bench players.

I just hope it doesn't get way over their head and they start asking for starting positions in other teams

I doubt it, both are happy where they are. It’s just nice to see the improvement (and equally to see Nick’s reaction - he has called both of them crap at different times!)

Nacho and Vasquez are guys that work really for Madrid because they are excited to be bench players and do a good job... they don't have dillusions of grandeur. They're not great players by any stretch; but they do the job.

Every top club needs players like that.

No he's not Hala He's not a good CB; but a good defensive fullback. Very good depth player... he's smart enough to know it and, thus, happy as second fiddle at real madrid.

I see him in between what the two of you say. I say he is a good CB. Good enough to be #3 not only at club but on NT as well.

I think he has developed real well this season (as has Lucas). But developing and being more apart of the club doesn’t mean starter status.

Unlike some here Bill... I like Vasquez and Nacho a lot. They do the dirty work that make a huge difference at top clubs.

It really is a shame that Isco is positionless at Real Madrid. He's a fantastic player. If CR would only play the CF role, it would work perfectly.
