Malaga v Real Madrid
Full Real Madrid matchday squad to face Malaga:
Keylor Navas, Kiko Casilla, Luca Zidane; Carvajal, Achraf, Vallejo, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Theo; Casemiro, Marcos Llorente, Kroos, Kovacic, Dani Ceballos, Marco Asensio, Isco, Lucas Vazquez; Benzema, Borja Mayoral.
Apparently Bale's been 'rested' guy has barely played, now hw can't even find himself in the whole squad. James 2.0

I don't know why he wasn't included. These are the games he should be involved in because I sure as hell don't want him to start against Bayern.

Even Ceballos made the squad ahead of Bale. He is definitely done at Madrid, doubt he'll be coming back from this.

I highly doubt that. Z doesn't really strike me as the type of managers who turns their back on their players or holds a grudge against them.
If he's leaving him out of the squad, be sure there's a reason behind it and not just because the Welshman sucks.

Oh yes, my bad. After being subbed off at HT in midweek, he is quite exhausted from his hard 45 minutes of football. Nothing to talk about, nothing worth mentioning.

Gareth is a very fragile lad, Zidane is managing his minutes

Re: Malaga v Real Madrid
Being rested is just a cover story. Nobody wants another James v ZZ so we are just pretending that he's being rested. I can assure you all that Bale won't start against Bayern. James made his bed against Barca and Bale against Jjuve.

Re: Malaga v Real Madrid
Well, I for one would like the board to sell him along with Benzema. So if the story is true, all the better.
As for James, I'm always a little bit panicky about facing former Madrid players because in many cases they have come back to haunt us (Robben with Bayern in 2012, Morata with Juventus in 2015, ...).
I hope James does just like Higuain and goes anonymous the entire 180 min.

Re: Malaga v Real Madrid
If we back off and let Bayern have the ball James is going to wipe the floor with us with his crosses. If we press high up James is going to show his true level and why he never made it at this club in the first place. The only one I am worried about in that team is Lewa, if Ramos does his job properly I don't know where their goals are going to come from. That's not to say we won't have a total collapse ala Jjuve game but I am confident these guys are going to do a magnificent job

Re: Malaga v Real Madrid
Read Madrid XI to play Malaga:
Navas, Carvajal, Vallejo, Ramos, Theo, Casemiro, Kovacic, Isco, Lucas Vazquez, Benzema, Asensio.
We are playing the 433 for the first time in like forever. Vallejo trusted with another game. This time with the leader of the defence. He'll be great. Theo also starting, nice.

Keep in mind today’s opponent is by a large margin, the absolute worst team in la liga with only four wins in entire season!

Re: Malaga v Real Madrid
Well... Benzema shot the ball. But you can tell that he's a DM by nature.
Casemiro needs to get his act together. He's really really really been awful on the ball and doesn't read the game at all. Regressed a ton recently.
Bright side... Isco is great. Vasquez trying hard. Vallejo seems more comfortable playing the right side of the defense (is that his normal position?).

Re: Malaga v Real Madrid
Casemiro Also everyone just watching the ball on the corner
We are being too cute. The defenders have done well the rest are too casual in our own half. Thank God for Ramos. Also this might be seen as kneejerk but everytime i watch Vallejo he strikes me as someone who can actually replace Ramos and Pepe. He is as agressive without the fouls. If only he didnt get injured every two days

Re: Malaga v Real Madrid
Teams are figuring out more and more that the more you press casemiro the more opportunities you are going to get.
As a ball handler, in traffic, in possession he is a train wreck. that's why Kovacic comes deep to get the ball out of the back and when kroos plays he does the same. Meanwhile, Casemiro has time to go play AM until he can make a heroic defensive play...
sigh

it's normal that Vallejo looks better, he is playing with Ramos. Ramos is a leader of men, he makes it easier.

Benzema looks complacent... No wonder though, starting week in week out without even being DECENT.
