Arsenal "defending" really is a sight to behold. Their players just don't challenge for the ball and are incredibly slow to react to any threat.

And of course Wenger does what he does when chasing a game and literally throws on every striker he has.

We've taken less points away from home than Grimsby *bleep* Town this year.

Manager of the year tbh.

As if we are two points from 8th with Gayle and Perez upfront, Bald Cleverly and Discount Tesco Pepsi Toure in midfield.

Sounds like Mustafi having a disaster again. How is it possible he's still starting? What is Mislintat buying Greek CB gems for?

Wenger is intentionally sabotaging Mislintat.

The Greek kid was supposed to go on loan but Wenger wanted him to stay only to never play him again.

lmao I really started to believe the same, and wanted to post about it, when I read what Wenger said publicly after Mislintat aws hired:

"We do know all those players already, at the most maybe Sven knows more about a handful of players from small Bundesliga sides which we decided to ignore" Laughing WTF

“We talk,” Wenger said on their new relationship. “We know the players. We know. It’s not that we discover, we know every single player in Europe before Sven arrived. Sometimes, in a little club in Germany, he might know somebody we might ignore.”

Wenger said the situation is slightly “unusual” at the moment as the new appointments adapt to Arsenal’s different environment.

It's well known that Wenger doesn't like having people around him that can undermine him, this is his opinion when asked about Arsenal getting a director of football:

"No, director of football, I don't know what it means," Wenger said at his pre-match press conference ahead of facing Southampton on Wednesday.

"Is it someone who stands on the road and directs the players left and right? I never understand what it means, director of football."

Wenger has not yet confirmed whether he will stay at the Gunners beyond the end of his current contract, which expires at the end of the season, but the Frenchman insisted the technical structure of the club will not change as long as he is in charge.

"I'm manager of Arsenal and as long as I am manager, I will decide what happens on the technical front," he added. "That's it."

6 months later we got Raul Sanllehi as our director of football but is being called "head of football relations" out of respect for the old man rofl

It's pretty cruel to deny a manager the new manager bump and then sack him without giving him a transfer window of note and a summer preparation.

Sir Pardew let down by a club once again

Pogba clutch for the second half last week against City and now back to being an absolute passenger today..just got subbed off. He's just far too inconsistent. Never puts in full effort. Very unprofessional
