So with the help of google and my sis who actually knows French, did not know selling tickets to Ultras is an illegal act worthy of suspension.

It's a disciplinary decision from FIGC and we're going in appeal. The only crime was selling tickets in big bundles, instead of selling them in package of 4. The main buyer has ties with the calabrese mafia, nothing else, no where it was proven that our "ultra group is a front for the mafia".
Let me suppose Andrea Agnelli needs to know personally everyone in Italy, and who they are hanging with ? Ridiculous.

For whatever reason (and i insist this need explanations) Juve sold a shit load of tickets to the same person, which is apparently illegal. That's what Agnelli is blamed for, the reason of his 1 year ban.
The rest are speculations. As far as i've read, there is no proof that Juventus receive any benefit from the second-hand ticket sale.

Nope he can and probably will keep that role. Juventus will appeal and I'm sure the sentence will be reduced.

Well, to be fair, this has more to do with Agnelli than Juventus. Gonna assume Jjuve got fined by association. Agnelli is the the guilty part (along with the 3 others that the article referenced).

It's Juve's tickets. The president of the club either had to buy the tickets in bulk from his own club (which would be illegal too btw) and then sell them to this group... or juve is involved.
It's like saying it was the CEO's fault for making the decision so the company shouldn't be liable. It doesn't work like that.

Yeah never quite get how people can separate it really. Agnelli represents Jjuve and did what he did on behalf of Jjuve and thus Jjuve got fined. Not suspended, just fined. Agnelli, being the guilty one, got the bulk of the punishment.

To be fair, rincon meant this isn't really thread worthy. I remember this being announced last season some time and now we have a thread because there was a ruling, which is pending appeal.
Lets say Juve is successful in the appeal- probably reduce the ban and/or the fine, I promise there will be no thread for it

Damn right Luca, not even a GL threadworthy-crime.
Agnelli is not a player, who cares if he's suspended lol. Worst case scenario is he'll just watch the games at home and that will suffice. It's a symbolic punishment, the equivalent of a slap on the wrist.
