United lol, BC come on.
I agree there's better in Europe mind you, their CBs and DMs are pitiful compared to the best in Europe.
But the rest of their quality far outweighs the rest of the PL.

The amount of hatred for guardiola tho. Btw, why does the public usually hate someone freaking good at what they do anyway?

Because nobody likes a hipster who gets undue hype. Overrated.
ManCity has no excuses. They need to win this year.
The keks if that loser mourinho wins it before pep does...

How is that his fault though? What a strange attitude to have.
Also the hipster stuff is funny, surely a manager who is creative and isn't afraid to try things which are outside the box should be praised not criticised?

Praised if it works. Criticized if falling face to floor. And his face has fallen flat to floor more often since leaving mehssi's shadow.Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:Turok_TTZ wrote:Because nobody likes a hipster who gets undue hype.

Football is a ruthless sport is it not?

Technically, Mourinho won Europa and Carling Cup so he did kinda win before Pep. You know, technicalities.

The thing about City for me is that they have a "Great when fit" team. Yeah on paper when Kun, Kompany, Silva and Gundogan are fit their team looks quite good, but these guys often get injured for a few months per season and their replacements are not great.

On paper, but these are still a lot of very young players and many of them only have one or no EPL experience, which can't be discounted.
Besides, I'm not sure if BC is referring to presently or last season when it was woefully obvious that the team needed a lot more depth. Now they do, but that depth needs to get more EPL experience, definitely.
Pep's best weapon for winning silverware will be keeping his players fit. It's very difficult to do well when your best players are always injured. Look at his fitness record at Barca--huge reason they did so well, because replacements at Barca weren't always that great.
Definitely still need a DM, imo maybe one more CM as well, but we'll see. He seems fine relying on Fernandinho and Yaya for some reason.

Pepster's tactics are questionable to say at least.
I mean, the guy spends 150m on wing backs and starts Sane at wing back.

I feel the title race both in Spain and England are as good as over. While eight points is not an insurmountable gap with more than two-thirds of the season remaining, there isn't any real proof that either of MU, Chelsea can mount a sustainable challenge.

It's basically 2 points after we beat them twice tbh

So basically 8 points.

Re: Congratulations Man City on winning the PL 2017-2018
To "beat them twice" is a nonsensical demand tbh, given that the mathematically possible maximum of points for Mou's Utd from 2 games against a fellow top team is four, i.e. a draw away and a win at home.

You are going to park a Boeing 747 and an Airbus A380 in one of them.Firenze wrote:iftikhar wrote:I feel the title race both in Spain and England are as good as over. Wish we had a coach who isnt scared af to take the game to them in a game such as that. Anyway, congrats. This was decided long ago anyway.
