Lazio was the best team left in the tournament. Complacency is a bitch.
No they are not. Atletico and Arsenal is better.
List a squad by squad comparison.

The verb would be "are". And, if you are so interested, you list a squad by squad comparison.

Arsenal plays in Brexit league so everyone is automatically better. Atletico has to compete with Madrid, Barcelona and the corrupt Spanish FA so they are also automatically better. No need to do a squad comparison, pretty easy to figure this out.

Re: Official Europa League>>>>>>>>>CL thread 2017/18
Lazio would end up last in about any comparison (especially CF) even if we include bench players
Only Milinkovic-Savic could save the face and finish 2nd for his position. Could find himself a spot in Arsenal's midfield. Atletico nah, they have a complete team already.

No, I'm not gonna bother wasting my time. Only Milinkovic Savic, De Vrij and Immobile in his Serie A form this season has an argument for starting for either teams. I was curious to see who else you think is better than Arsenal/Atletico players. Or do you think Lazio as a collective is better? Based on them...fighting for top 4 in Serie A?
I mean this Atletico team minus a few players like Carrasco is the same team that made the Champions League final and a team that does not even make that tournament's group stages is better? If Italians teams are so strong why don't they win the Champions League and Europa League every year?
Oh wait, Champions League its conspiracy and Europa League its complacency. Got you.

In no universe was Lazio the best team in a competition that has the current Atletico Madrid. Its pointless to argue.

How the *bleep* did Atletico get eliminated in uCl by Qarabag?
They would have made the final again in UCL had they progressed. Easily the best team in Europe after Madrid.

...why? were we supposed to be impressed by these two performances vs an Arsenal team that have been rivals with Burnley for 95% of the season, lol? Atleti aren't a top 10 team in Europe. They're where they deserve to be right now.

^That.
They were third behind Chelsea and Roma and it wasn't even close. 4 points off.

Thats rubbish. He was clearly exaggerating but this current team with Diego Costa at worst is top 8.

Marseille have given up. Jogging around, 6 players on yellow. Waiting to get to penalties.

Atleti had the same start to the season as us. But while we were grinding out wins in CL they flopped. Griezmann had like 5 goals by Christmas

This is going to penalties. Marseille are dead but RBS somehow don't seem like scoring.
