"Nearly" cannot kill a bird. They could lose next season's La Liga by goal difference/head to head or by 30 points and guess what they'd still be called? Runners up. Not champions. They should have been knocked out in the QF is PSG weren't such bottlers. They won't be so lucky next year.
And they're already starting the summer in style by going after Paulinho, a Spurs reject. Decline.

As long as Barcelona have that cancer front 3 to paper the cracks, their decline would be a rather slow process. Furthermore, they never lost to any of the top 7 La Liga teams so it's clear that they can still get good results against top opposition. Don't worry about their fans, like Madridistas, they have ridiculously high expectations.
They'll be in the 1/4 finals for the very least of the UCL and pushing Madrid and Atletico hard for the title.

Willing to bet they get knocked out in the QF next year.

Re: Are we going to witness the GREATEST Premier league season of all time?
Everyone of us also said that they wouldn't do shit when they drew 0-0 to Moysie, Enrique on the brink of being sacked, and on top of that a transfer ban making it impossible to strengthen their team which we all thought was weak in midfield and most of all defense due to years of mismanagement.
I mean they had bought Vermaelen and Mathieu
In the end, a treble including one of the most convinving CL wins ever, deposing of every big league champion one after the other.
We all thought, rightly, that Zippo's Real was laughably poor. In the end, historic back to back CL wins.
We don't know shit tbh.

It was one season and it wasn't shit that season anyway, their performances when it matters in the two seasons since are more relevant.

True, but then they have a new coach and the transfer window has barely started.
So we have no information as to how strong they will actually be.
Behind MSN I mean, who are still there and we know how strong they are.

I may come across a little short-sighted here but I think as long as you have Messi, and MSN to a lesser extent, you'll be fine, regardless of who's in charge.
I mean who would've thought Enrique would win the treble, especially after his horrendous stint with Roma?
Also, is it a coincidence that all the managers you've had in recent years have seen their trophy haul cut in half, or sometimes even dry out, after they left you guys?
I don't mean to belittle them in anyway because many of them were truly competent. But when you have Messi as the general of your army, you have a pretty good chance of winning the war regardless of whether or not you've laid out a good plan. He's simply that good.
Valverde will do great, partly because he's a good coach, but mostly because he has one of the very best players in the history of the game spearheading the attack.
