This
STFU
Mike Dean is an activist clown
Should have sent off Kompany 2 or 3 times
Kompany even fouls King at the very end, before Dean lets City play on and on before they finally score
it's outrageous

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion
I respect Mike Dean for the way he allowed the game to continue. when bournemouth was time wasting with injuries and what not in extra time, he was calmly counting down the time, and he added that at the end like a boss. Plus bournemouth attacking like crazies at the end instead of parking the bus to save a point. stupid, again, they can only blame themselves

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion
Mike Dean is a clown for many things today.
City scoring like a minute and a half after the 5 minutes isn't one of them.
Why? because there was like 2 minutes of stoppages during the stoppage time due to the Guardiola and Howe farce among other things so he had to add that on.
What i would question is why among many other things is why there was 5 minutes added on to begin with.

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion
I agree Mole, people forget the 1/2 min wasted minutes out of the 5 added minutes was Dean going to the touch line and talking to the 2 managers. Sane didn't take the Corner that was given before the 90th minutes until a 1+ min into added time. Not even mention that 5 minutes was BS amount of time given all the time wasting.

Agreed. Watched 2 of their games now and I can't say I liked it at all. Won't be watching many more.

Something has been made abundantly clear to me in the first 3 games, Guardiola still doesn't have a clue what his best team is yet and is lucky they haven't lost yet.
He better figure it out soon, seeing as it's his job to figure shit like that out.

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion
Not a great showing by Man C, as above said they celebrated a 2-1 to a mid table team like crazy, Pep starting to act weird lately from the pressure perhaps? Although I really thought it was the last second, but the ref went on to almost 100 minutes
The team definitely needs to improve though. Tbf Bournemouth played pretty well, and physically Man C look too small in comparison, virtually all players look like midgets compared with the opponents. Yaya looks like falling down the order which is bit sad since he played well most of the time, and we miss his physical power.
Man C lucky to win today I think, and dont convince, still work to do for Pep and the team...

I think he'll get them ticking well and they'll be title contenders this season..he's a top tier coach and the team is stacked, hard to get it wrong. Early days yet, but yeah, very unimpressive in the opening few games. If he doesn't get them competing for the title this year he definitely deserves the blame.

I agree that he will, but even so right now it's obvious he doesn't have a clue what his favoured XI is, to the point that i actually think being stacked will cause more problems than helping in the short term.
He needs to hope they continue to pick up wins until he figures it out.

Looool
Nah I don't disagree. Apart from the last 35 minutes against Everton they have looked quite poor. I've mentioned that as well.
Lack of cohesion and balance. Better to have those underwhelming performances now than later on tbh.

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion
Cohesion, balance, pace of play etc etc it's all meh atm.
Like i said it all smacks of a manager trying to find the right mix and still hasn't come close.
He's lucky they have enough talent to get results anyway.

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion
Looks like same old problem with Peps teams, unbalanced. I cant imagine them being able to boss some of the big teams with such weak physical power, too many technical midgets. Barca was similar but they had Xavi, City dont look like able to control for all they want with this current team.
But this is turning out to be really Pep vs Mou again Unless Chelsea does what they did last season again. Gotta watch more Man U to decide first, but Man U looks to have a more balanced team.

More so then there defence their decision making and finishing is poor. They've could have scored 2-3 goals in each of their last 3 games.

Yeah no.....
Barca and Bayern weren't unbalanced, you can make arguments against them in some ways but balance is not one of them.

Yup I mentioned something like that earlier this summer. It's gonna take a bit of time for him to figure out the key starters, but unlike last season, he has the individual quality to somewhat mask that process.

The yellow card for celebrating with your fans or taking your shirt off is a *bleep* moronic rule.
Has no place in the game imo.
