What's the deal with Qatar???
So, what's the issue for KSA and UAE (not arsed with Egypt, Yemen, Libya or Maldives (really ) breaking diplomatic tie with Qatar? Them blaming someone for fueling terrorism is like that Kim guy lecturing about democracy.

Re: What's the deal with Qatar???
It's such an amazing fear to see Arab countries go after each other and turn on one another.
Lovingly observing with some popcorn up the side !!
Hope it escalates between Qatar and Saudi : Go ahead, reveal each other' dirty secrets. Two of the biggest sponsors of terrorism and extremism in the world and the 2 main countries behind the Syrian war.

Re: What's the deal with Qatar???
The modern equivalent of Austria-Hungary's ultimatum to Serbia pre-World War One.
They're not going to accept that, and Saudi Arabia are really pushing this anti-terror facade aren't they?

Re: What's the deal with Qatar???
Its still an ongoing blockade, the gist of it is this:
-We share a pipeline for Oil/Gas exports with Iran
-Saudi doesn't want this, tells us to stop it
-We say no, Iran is our neighbor, we cant let you impose your foreign policy on our state
-Saudi commands Egypt/UAE/Bahrain to cut all diplommatic ties with Qatar, with Trump's blessing
-We host the largest US airbase in the Middle East, any attack on us would be an attack on them, Trump didn't know that the US had a base in Qatar (this is legit you can goodle it)
-After cutting all diplomatic ties, a mass media slander by all middle east countries is executed to make us look bad, everything from being the main propagator of terrorism (which is funny) to stuff like Borrowing 90m from Israel for Neymar's transfer
The main evils in the region are these 2 gentlemen
Crown Prince of Saudi Mohammed bin Salman
He is a conservative (or publicly seeming conservative) and wants to destroy all SHia and rule the world
Mohammed Bon Zayed, Crown prince of Abu Dhabi
Dubbed as Al-Ankaboot (The Spider) for his political string pulling, he killed his brother, killed his brother's son, poisoned his uncle, killed another one of his brother, sent some of his relatives to fight in the Yemen war, all to avoid a succession war. He is one of the mainculprits and one of Qatar's biggest haters, in an interview, he said that Qatar was actually UAE land before the cartography of the Middle East, and feels cheated that we share one of the biggest oil/gas reserves in the Middle East (alongside Iran)
Tensions are settled a bit, but the slander is still in full force. The main media outlet of these countries is Al-Arabiya, lots of propaganda there being believed by millions of impoverished Saudi's with no education, there was a massive protest a month ago in Riyadh, you can google it. they had to cut down ALL internet connection in the country to stop the videos etc from spreading, but it still happened.
Tensions are still brewing, but this diplomatic war is not going to end, not for many years i believe. I am still on track to joining the Military, its going to be a 3 month training regime which will take place in February/March. One more thing, there's so much more about this that i didn't mention but you could do your own research. They hate Al-Jazeera because its uncontrolled media, they paid a few people of the royal family (The Emir's 2nd cousin) to join them and speak out against us. Those that they paid, they promised riches and are living in Morrocco lol. Its a whole *bleep* of politics that i can't cover right now as its too late.
One thing is, this all boils down to Shia vs Sunni, Saudi vs Iran, sect vs sect. We are caught in the middle of it, sharing a land border with Saud and a sea border with Iran. The cheek of these blockading countries to cut access to their airspace lol, which then got revoked as if they do not comply to the aviation treaty which says you cannot claim airspace above a certain threshold (5000ft?). Iran and Turkey has become our closest allies, importing 80% from them, before it was Saudi. Rex Tillerson is mad that Trump created this mess, he says one thing, Trump says another. Its really a *bleep*. Why didn't they cut ties with Kuwait or Oman? Because they didn't have Al-Jazeera? This whole thign stinks and just thinking about it makes me mad
The worst part is the people are the one suffering, atari's married to Emiraties are split, these inter-Middle Eastern families got destroyed. I know Emiraties studying here that had to go back. Its f*cked up. Anyways its late, if you are really interested you can read up about it. Choose your sources wisely, Al-Arabiya is pro-Saudi, Sky is pro-UAE, if you truly want unbiased just go to BBC or something

Re: What's the deal with Qatar???
Qatar v UAE today semi final for the Asian cup
-Qatari supporters have not been allowed to travel to UAE
-UAE tried to lodge a request to change the referee for this fixture
-People are encouraged to bring laser pointers and point at the Qatari players
-The 'Qatari supporter section' of the stadium's price has been hiked up 40%
-The Qatari players could not sleep at the hotel because there was such a ruckus and noise outside the hotel
-Keep in mind the blockade is still on
Few things:
-Qatar has conceded 0 goals this tournament
-Qatar hasn't lost at all this tournament
Did i mention that UAE is the host nation?
If Qatar wins, the political implications could be astronomical
