Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 14
one of the biggest issues for City will be finding a great CB, Kompany is legit but can't be trusted to play more than 10% of the season
Otamendi is passable at times
Stones is a complete clown..there aren't too many good CB's out there
gun to my head right now, Chelsea and City are favorites for the title next season (assuming that City get the right signings in this summer and I think they will)

It's too easy for this guy
I pray we drop 100m on him
don't give AF about Mbappe or Griezmann, they can keep pillaging poverty leagues
we need to get the big white PL proven machine in
can't see Levy selling though

His embrace with Pep as he was subbed off was a little more than just a " good job lad enjoy your rest".

DM and full backs from what I have seen over the last few weeks imo.
Yaya has done a great job, but it will never be optimal and their fullbacks are trash.
Which I'd argue are massively important for Pep team not just defensively but offensively too.

Yeah I've said repeatedly the biggest problem for city are their full backs, but a top CB is also needed

Fabinho is the perfect signing for Pep so I imagine that's gonna happen, sucks because I want him at Utd
2 new FB's for certain coming in, Fabinho can play there too..I don't think they will have any issues finding those which is why I didn't mention it, seems to be quite a few decent guys out there atm that would fit Pep perfectly
it's pretty insane that we have Kolarov and Sagna still starting games for City in 2017 lol, I expect City to compete for the title next season for sure

4-3-3 tiki taka, overlapping FB's, inside forwards, focus on central midfield play.

Spurs play the best football in the league IMO (to watch)
Defensively incredible (best defensive record in the league, we're second)
Conte's Chelsea are solid at the back too but I find them boring to watch..Spurs just score for fun too, while Chelsea are mostly clinical and take the few chances they create
Pochettino has this team incredibly well drilled, they're basically us but with 3 elite finishers

we need a top class CM next season. Wij, Can and Henderson are not enough imo. Klopp once sorts out defence, we will also be up there with others then.

Loserpool signing top class players
you should get in there for Goretzka though IMO, think that's realistic, would be a big signing

all banter and bait aside, you need about 10 decent squad signings IMO, can't underestimate The CL+PL schedule, you should worry about it because of Klopp's history of running his players into the ground and not rotating properly

Realistically you need another CF and another dynamic attacker (if that CF isn't that) imo.
Without Mane your forwards are a bit uninspiring imo.

Maybe the clown is Pep, if he was at Chelsea under Conte he would be a top CB.

Spurs end the season with the most goals scored, the least goals conceded and the league's top scorer.
Congratulations Liverpool on the 4th placed trophy.

nothing to do with Pep, Stones has had many chances and he has at least 1 massive individual error per game
He's not a defender IMO, his positional sense and thought process shows that and unlike Luiz he doesn't have the physical attributes to make up for some of his shortcomings
