Decent, sluggish start but he's starting to get the results. He should get Inter a champions league spot anyways I expect them to snatch that 3rd champions league spot..

With the amount of problems(refs, injuries etc.) hes done good so far....
Expecting top 3, should get better and better with long awaited return of Sneijder and Forlan.

Great in the short term.
@the Fonz, it will take Inter to keep winning and a team or two ahead of them to fall off. Although it could definitely happen.

Re: How good a job has Claudio Ranieri done at Inter so far?
our defence almost immediately looked more solid under ranieri which is great, also results wise you can't complain about his win average at all
the bad things are, we didn't deserve to win every one of our matches, we played like crap in a lot and have been insanely boring bar a few games. his substitutions are often negative and just end up inviting pressure on us. he also has a habit of subbing out the best performing player which is the most confusing thing of all
but overall he's done well and he deserves to mould the team more into his shape so he can try his own thing

Done well thus far to steady the ship.
Now comes the hard part, keeping it up and delivering something tangible come the end of the season. I think they have the players to make the top 3, it's the mental state that I have reservations over, especially after watching Juve these past two seasons I know what it can do to a team.
January is crucial, Parma at home, then Milan (away), Lazio at home then Lecce away.

Yeah Udinese and Lazio most likely will run out of gas coming towards the latter stages of the season..I can see it happening..

Re: How good a job has Claudio Ranieri done at Inter so far?
He's actually done a good job. But not excellent because a major part of the improvement was stopping Gasperini's awful tactics. Trying that formation with those players was just stupid.
I'm not trolling or anything that's my unbias opinion.

Re: How good a job has Claudio Ranieri done at Inter so far?
He's done what he's always done when call upon by struggling teams, he's reeled in the players crucial to his tactics and discarded the ones who are not as well as forming the team into a cohesive unit. The football is never pretty, but it's very effective.
Typical Ranieri stuff we're seeing here. He's done as good a job as he could be asked to do based on the circumstances.

Re: How good a job has Claudio Ranieri done at Inter so far?
ranieri with inter somehow reminds of juande ramos with madrid 09.. the way both took on sinking ships and steadied them and brought them near the top of the table even with a below par squad .. inter still have some catching up to do and hopefully their end result wont be as bad as juande's madrid 09 ..
so far hes done a pretty commendable job and specially in the champions league after losing the easiest match possible the did quite well to qualify so comfortably..
