Very good thriller. Great suspense. Very well acted and directed and cinematography is awesome. Well ahead of its time I should say given it was 1954. But the plot was overly simple once I settled into the film. I kept expecting something grand but it never came. The ending was fun but again a bit underwhelming. I think the movie is slightly overrated given how highly people rate it but it's very good and worth a watch.
Also probably shouldn't have watched it right after 12 Angry Men which is on another level in quality.
Watch Rope mate if you havent. One Hitchcock movie that always gives me chills for its sheer brilliance of the plot.
The plot sounds amazing but I can't find this film anywhere for some reason (other than torrents). It's weird. I can find 1920s films but not Rope.

If you want Hitchcock, watch Psycho, Vertigo, Strangers On A Train.

Taxi Driver (1973)
Hmm.
I am not sure how I felt about this film. On one hand I think I just saw the greatest method acting ever in De Niro's portrayal of Travis. He was by far the best part of the film. But on the other hand I didn't think the film was amazing. Maybe it's not aged well? It's pretty noir and some of the shots were great. But it didn't amaze me. Still a good film though.

Watch No Escape (2015). 99 suspense imo. Despite being a suspense junkie, even I had to pause at times.

I think it's the same as what I thought about Pulp Fiction. I would have loved it if I had seen it earlier. Because you can tell what Scorsese did in Taxi Driver was amazing and probably revolutionary judging by when the film was made. And the themes it showed are also a lot more relevant for 70s than they are now.
Nowhere near an average film as I liked it. But I was expecting it to be above 9.

I don't know whether it was revolutionary, maybe an antihero protagonist and the violence was uncommon. I just absolutely loved the movie, from the plot, to the directing, acting and characters. Its my favorite Scorsese movie.

Rear Window was pretty meh. Had like 2 mins of actual suspense. Rest of it was just the daily life of a guy who looks out of a window.

You don't even know what suspense is, bruh. Hitchcock invented that term.

Can't wait for it. Looks like it's going to be some kind of buddy cop movie with those two.

Warn me against what exactly?
Your ignorant opinions? Curses
I liked Warcraft and couldn't give a shit about others' opinions on it. Maybe I'll enjoy this too.
If this movie is bad it's not because of it being a game. It's about everything and everyone making it.
Just read an interview with the director saying he hadn't played the games and that the movie was 100 minutes. Retarded to make such a short movie in this genre.

I'll make my own video game movie to prove people wrong. If short films count there has been a good one though

Re: The Movie House - Part 9
I don't think it's that bad. Reading comments on IMDB, people who have played it say that the film is good.
I don't think majority of the critics have played the game.
Might be 5/10 but not any lower.

Re: The Movie House - Part 9
I knew it would be meh as soon as I heard 65% is present day. Nearly everyone says there is some good action in the past but present day is boring. Guess what in the games, present day was like 5%.

That really didn't bother me. Made sense for an origin.
Either make it like that or a 100% in the past.
I saw a clip where they kept cutting between the animus and the past. Seemed too weird for me. Rather they stayed in there instead of cross cutting.
