Re: Ibrahimovic
Will Mourinho have the courage to put him on the bench?

Buy a 35 year old player and then call him a fraud because he doesn't pull their sorry asses out of the mess they're in
Is it so much to ask a billy big bollox, arrogant so called world class player to do his job and finish chances? some of which are put on the plate for him!!

Re: Ibrahimovic
No but calling him a fraud is stupid based on his career tbh.
As i said he's just old and not the player he was, anyone watching him for PSG will tell you that that he's about two years past his sell by date.
Past it? yes, but a fraud? no.

I guess it's not.
But then I'd argue it's not too much to ask to give your players a *bleep* break just for a bit.

Hah! imagine giving a "break" to these overpaid players for not doing their job properly, as if we should be considerate to their poor lickle feelings. Nah screw that! This guy has been costing us points through his dreadful misses. 9 games without a goal now. He came with all this reputation and arrogance and he's playing like shit now, I don't care what his age is, he's missing the simplest of chances...needs to do what he's paid to do and score!
so excuse me and many Utd fans airing out our frustrations at him.

sportsczy wrote:He missed two 1v1s Hala... and took 12 shots. He's playing hard though. Ibra goes through periods like this. Both Pogba and Ibra are used to great players around them and having the likes of Herrera, Lingard, Rashford, Rojo, Valencia, etc. namely, crap, has been tough for both. They expect movement and passing that those guys are incapable of. Both are learning how to play with average teammates.
Pogba was great yesterday. Ibra is coming around. Mou isn't doing either any favors with his lineups.
I respect you as a poster, but this bit is sounding awfully condescending and is uncalled for at this stage taking all things into consideration.
Both Pogba and Ibra are given the God Status at United. They are literally immune to getting dropped and subbed off in matches. And its around them the whole team is built and changed around. And yet if you take last 5 matches into account, it is these 2 who have accrued the least ratings amongst all our players.
First of all these guys have to at least deliver on the same level as the likes of Herrera and Mata who you are blatantly slating off as average or crap here. (These 2 lesser mortal Spaniards are having beast seasons compared to our supposed gods). Only then your argument that they need better players around them to be successful will even hold the slightest bit of semblance. Pogba barring the last game where he was great, has even failed to do the basics right, and I am not talking about a dribble or a great cross or anything, its the simplest things like keeping track of his markers when we are defending and putting a at least that minimum effort on the pitch. He lazily plods along as if he dont give a shit about the team.
I am not saying this as a criticism or anything to make myself more clear here. Obviously like you, I am also clutching at all the straws I can find at this moment to big him up to avert the incoming brickbats from rival fans. But to say a player(s) who have been utter liabilities in the recent past need better players around him to succeed cries out sheer desperation to me, nothing else.

True. Makes my point even clearer. Why scapegoat a 35 year old you signed on a free.
Well I know the answer to this one of course.
Rooney is on the bench so their usual go-to scapegoat isn't available.
And god forbid they just accept their team isn't that successful at the moment.
Better throw a tantrum after every second game, for the 4th year in a row now.
Zlatan:
1.Has cost us 4-5 points already.
2.Missed 3 or 4 served-on-the-plate, tuck ins already.
3.Is undroppable and is basically the god of Manchester according to him and Mourinho somehow however shit he plays.
4.Has shown no commitment and desire to the team and its cause so far barring a few cringeworthy marketing stunts.
But hey guess what, we United fans aint allowed to criticize him no matter what because he is supposedly 'worldclass' and 'a sexy Norse god'.
Even if you arent, we United fans are completely aware of where we stand as a team right now. So if you think all these are part of some puny excuse to not doing well, sure then, whatever floats your boat i guess.

How shittily can a club be managed
Martial and Rashford should have more importance since they represent the future of this club. Meanwhile in the same locker room, Ibrahimovic and Mourinho are two cocky has-been pampering each other on the media, trying hard to cover the obvious glimpses of their respective downfalls...
Ibra used to be my favourite player but right now he is nothing more than a caricature of his past self.

In the end Zlatan is being played as how we was in Inter in which Mourinho centred him around for goals yet more as an isolated role as this is a repeat of that and the first time since his time under Pep at Barça. Goals aside Mourinho has limited him in that regard and given ignorant EPL fans the idea he is a pure striker as he STILL is being underused.
Though the whole brigade after 35 year old incorrectly used Zlatan were completely blowing things out of proportion and yet even in this spectrum he's back in proving his critics wrong, what he has done for years.

And yet arq despite that he still contributes with his passing and close control. All while being up top as the 9. It's amazing really.. always been a fan of his. If he had more of a license to roam you'd see a way flashier Ibra. But Man U, from what I've seen needs players who can score; chances are being created.
