I’m feeling dead inside since I finished The Office a few days ago (best comedy series ever imo).
Any recommendations for a replacement?

Don't watch anything for a while if you have that feeling. You'll never get into it.

Add The Good Place to that.
Closest show to the Office and Parks & Rec out of this new crop.
Also, 30 Rock is definitely worth a watch as well.

Don't really know much about her personal life, but if she keeps on churning out brilliant acting performances, I'll keep on praising her.

Was getting stale anyway. Just wasn't as excited for this past season as previous ones. Good decision tbh.

Can anyone vouch for This Is Us. Saw the pilot now, seems a bit too soapie/happy-go-lucky for me.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 5
so Vince Principals ended. Wasn't as balls to the walls as Eastbound and Down but still another classic comedy from McBride. One of my favorites from the last few years. Had a really unique vibe to it.

Was about to watch it earlier but for some reason couldn't get to it. Will watch soon just because Walton Goggins is in it.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 5
hard to explain, not sure what to compare it to
it's similar to other Danny McBridge stuff..Pineapple Express, Footfist Way etc, which you've probably never watched

Pineapple express was awful. Couldn't watch more than 20 minutes.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 5
all of my other feuds are off, me and you going at it at GLMania now
tbf its not exactly like Pineapple Express either since Danny McBride wasnt a main character in it
more like his other works where he's the main guy, peep an ep of that or better yet Eastbound and Down which is GOAT

Recently completed season 1. What a gem of a show it is mate. Like seriously. Didnt expect much even though I was aware it won shitload of awards. But wow. Blew me away. That Montague episode was dope af. So was all the other episodes I guess. Loved all the characters.
And dat shooting range scene.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 5
Peaky Blinders has been on my list for yeeears.
Alright. I'll start it now with you RG, but I don't have the binge endurance like some of you have, so I'm probably gonna progress slowly. And atm I'm on Narcos, Mr. Robot and The Wire (S3) while trying to catch up with more movies since it's holiday time.

Yeah man the US version, still miss coming back from work and just putting on a new episode
Might just start rewatching
Started Parks and Recreations which seems to have a similar style but it hasn't been so addicting yet. Ron Swanson is the funniest character so far.
