Which two teams will go through ?
Re: Champions League 2016-17 | Group A
Everytime I see Ospina play, he's been at least solid. He's very good for Colombia.
He's a good keeper. Great to feel stacked in the GK department after the Scdjifsd/Fabianski era.

Now that the most difficult test is done , Arsenal look good to win the group now (:

Re: Champions League 2016-17 | Group A
PSG played very well on a whole, I can't complain about their football. Cavani however is in total dog shit form and pretty much made everything they did null and void.
I would give Arsenal credit, they did not give up. They kept defending like hobos and trying to seek an equaliser banking on Ospina to keep them in it. Which he did, quite awesomely.
All in all, PSG needs a much better forward than Cavani. Sports can spin it all he wants, Cavani is not up to snuff for a team wanting UCL glory.

Re: Champions League 2016-17 | Group A
Rewatched parts.
While it's completely farcical PSG would not score more goals with all those one on ones and open goals they had, I somehow feel that point for Arsenal is deserved.
As doc says, they somehow stayed in it and I feel they managed to match the intensity over quite some passages of play. They were more or less at their best.
Aurier, what a monster. Incredible, powerful player. The Ribéry of right backs.
I love Bellerin to death but Aurier might be a tier above him tbh. Of course, Aurier is also brain amputated so what can you do.
Verratti, up there with the best.
Cavani, no words. PSG selling Zlatan to promote this guy into the main CF role. Absolutely unbelievable. Somebody should get fired over this.

Higuain would have easily scored a brace in that match. Easy god damn Pz. But as Farfan mentioned, years of playing on the wings and under Ibra ruined him.

What I don't get is why PSG bought Jese as their new striker? A lad that's got only 13 goals in 65 La Liga matches - while playing for Real Madrid. Even Memphis Depay would score more goals than that if he played for Real Madrid.

Jese's an inside forward not a CF. Don't think he was bought to replace Zlatan at all.

I thought he's their striker choice if Cavani isn't playing. Who is it then?

True. If indeed the case, I hope we grind out a win.
Is it the next fixture, or do they come to the Ems first?

Then we'll *bleep* beat Bayern as well while we're on our way to the UCL quarters.

Strangely, I feel a bit more positive about facing a team like Bayern now.
Well. We can enjoy it till the injury crisis come around. Just a matter of weeks now.

Well. It is strange because I have not been a part of that 'usual' group for many years. But thanks for stereotyping me. I thought you knew me better after all these years.
