Re: The Chris Hughton vs Newcastle United Scoreline
Update after MD 33
Chris Hughton 26.5 - 30 Newcastle United
Just one more match day to go, and then, next week on Tuesday the 28th of February, the postponed Mega Summit from MD 28 will take place.
At this moment, Newcastle's Rafalactico superstar troupe have mnaged to scrape their lead in this scoreline to 3.5 points, taking them just out of reach even in case Brighton manage to win the duel.
The same isn't true for the table though. A win will let Brighton reclaim their rightful spot on top.

Because TRAGICALLY, they lost both head to head matches
The last one after leading for most of the game
This thread was sooooooooooo close to becoming an one in a million triumph ffs
Still pretty *bleep* genius if you ask me

Re: The Chris Hughton vs Newcastle United Scoreline
One in a million triumph lol, stahp our team is painfully average even for this league outside of 2 or 3 players.
We overspent because we sold our best players but doesn't mean the players we have are great.
Stop acting like Brighton have significantly worse players please.( hell their best forward and defender would walk into our team)
Without Rafa we wouldn't be in the top 6 probably, we'd be another Aston Villa.

We have lost once since August and are getting better and better.
We have played everyone in the top 6 and hardly anyone in the bottom 6, we have the deepest team in the league by far and can make 5 or 6 changes and still win comfortably.
It's commendable that the likes of Norwich, Huddersfield and Brighton keep winning but it won't last. Same thing happened last time, we started slow, scraped victories and as it got into the winter months we pulled away.
I sound arrogant but tbh I'm being realistic here.

Re: The Chris Hughton vs Newcastle United Scoreline
That doesn't mean anything and I don't take back what I said at all, I didn't think we'd play this awful in the second half of the season which is why this has happened.
I may have overestimated some of our squad players, not because I thought they were amazing or anything just that it's the championship lol.
We have been one of the worst teams in the league performance wise since January tbh, I don't think anyone saw that coming and if you did you're a liar.
Lastly you are the only one turning this into some competition, I respect and like Hughton more than pretty much anyone at my club except for Rafa and couldn't care less whether we finish 1st or 2nd and said that when the season started.
This isn't a Pardew situation where I literally hated him and wanted him to fail.

It was a long hard ironman match but i knew Rafa's ability off the hot tag would pay off eventually.

Re: The Chris Hughton vs Newcastle United Scoreline
In fairness we were top longer than they were, a lot longer in fact and they only got in front because we started playing like crap ourselves.
We managed to come back because they choked mind.
