Euro 2008, Germany vs Turkey-- 90th min goal Philipp Lahm

The game that married me to football forever. France v Portugal in Euro 1984. I was there at Marseille. I was 12 years old. Platini scored the game winner at 1 min from time in OT to give France the 3-2 win. Portugal went up 2-1 in OT but France scored 2 late goals.

The whole Euro 2008. I  watched most games and was very pleased by the Netherlands, who were my favourite team cause they had orange kits... i was only 14 at the time lol... fun fact is that years passed by and i still support the Oranje when it comes to NTs.

WC 2006 got my interest for football, Euro 2008 made it my favourite sport. Prior to that i was a hockey enthousiast (i still am) but since then FOOTBALL IS NO 1 !!!!

france vs england in euro 2004, i loved how england absolutely just crapped themselves out of 3 points late on in that game, a selfish rooney move that led to a missed pk, a last minute freekick from zidane, and a last min pk after gerrard did what would become his typical back pass to the opposing player....clutch performance from zizou, who didn't have the best of games that day

2004 was just a strange Euro for France... there was a power struggle between Henry and Zidane and the team just never got going. Lost against Di Matteo's Chelsea inspiration team: PTB Greece. Henry went CL Ibra with his misses that day.

oh italy against the dutch in 2000 was funny too, italy practically begged the dutch to win that game, but they fluffed their penalties and fluffed in the shootout as well

Isn't first time always memorable. Anticipation is what makes it so beautiful and scary at same time.

Greece winning 2004 was pretty incredible.

Also Pirlo's penalty against England was quite memorable, also in 2012

I remember Euro 2000, I remember the Holland game although I was a bit too young to appreciate it in real time

Euro 2008 was the first one I watched and it was absolutely magical. Czech Republic-Turkey easily the most memorable game from that tournament, but I really enjoyed watching Spain that tournament, they were such an entertaining side that Euro.

Also feel like I remember a crazy game between...Austria and Croatia? Don't recall. Euro 2008 was just overall fantastic

Yeah... Germans had a few of those back in the day. Hrubesch is another.

Forgotten  for few I hope ... Prime Bierhoff ( 96-99 ) was  really a fantastic CF and infact he was a difference maker in that Serie A.
Won the Serie A top scorer in '97-'98  with Udinese (3rd place, and it was another Serie A ) above the prime Ronaldo ! (R10 began his action from midfield but this is another story)  
Impressive header and  amazing strenght. Even a neutral had to admire him.
