Ibra could earn over £483,000 per week at united
if the deal to united goes through as planned, he will be earning 17 millions euros NET per year.
from what i could find, players are taxed about 45-47% on their income, so that gross income in pounds would be around £483k/w
is there anyone else in england making this much money?
mourinho splashing that cash already lol

Messi and Ronaldo both get more, no?
Neymar soon too.
But I still don't actually believe Nick has got it right with claiming it's 17m net.

Yanited and EPL money? nah they have always been a bottomless pit of cash, long before tv money got a massive hike.
The TV money could be non existent and they'd still be able to throw cash around like there's no tomorrow.

They are the first club in history to earn over a billion in a year. And that's without consistent CL or titles.
Last thing they lack is cash.

No im not sure that it's net, because it's not specified as so for now. I am going for the assumption that it's a net amount because he was earning over 15 millions euros net at PSG.

CR currently gets 18 mil if i recall, Messi is around 20-21 mil. The new deal he is negotiating with Madrid will put him around Messi level from what i hear. But messi in turn will negotiate a bigger deal soon enough.Hapless_Hans wrote:Messi and Ronaldo both get more, no?

Funny how Messi always goes on about how he feels he owes the club and all that.
I'd feel like i'd owe them too if i was getting paid 21m a year

The issue is whether it will be net or not

Ibra is gonna be 35 soon but the way he plays he can continue to deliver goals for a good while. That's allot of money though

Ibra will be a massive flop if the expectation of his to be top 3 player in the BPL. no way is he worth that much

Re: Ibra could earn over £483,000 per week at united
He would be getting 2 to 3 year deals for big money in MLS, China and even some other clubs in Europe. Since he's only signing a 1 year deal, they're basically including a buyout for those additional years he's foregoing to come to Man U and adding that number into the wage bill... So Nick could very well be right.

Even in his mid-thirties,he would by far the biggest star in the league.
None right now in the pl come close to his superstar status so its a good marketing move in that respect with the money being proportionate to his marketability.
100% he is earning atleast 10-12M net salary. Its probably much higher close to the figure Nick mentioned.
