Not gonna lie I have really enjoyed the Bolivia/Panama match.
Two lesser sides for sure, but they really showed up to put a show for the fans that came out.

End-to-end stuff. We have no midfield control without Biglia or an appropriate replacement. Makes for an interesting match though.

When Mercado got that deflection in the edge of the box I really thought he was going to score. I was deceived.
Di Maria is doing his usual frustrating thing where he generates a great play and squanders it with a terrible pass or finish at the end. Still 1/10 times it works, so we might win the game this way.
Higgy needs to stop bitching whenever he doesn't get good service. And pressing more.
Gaitan needs to grow some balls and stay up. Pressing wouldn't hurt either.
Banega and Augusto are invisible.
Funes Mori, how is he even starting? Can think of a few players better suited for the role, perhaps they're all injured?

Chile is done without Sampaoli. The funny thing is that Argentina doesn't want him, instead they have Gerardo Martinez

He wasn't available when Tata was hired, IIRC.
Aguero looks motivated to earn his starting spot.

AFA doesn't have enough money, all of it dissappears in some shady deals.Socur Toxanarosa wrote:Chile is done without Sampaoli. The funny thing is that Argentina doesn't want him, instead they have Gerardo Martinez

If the Chilean Federation could pay him, pretty sure AFA can too. But i know that meritocracy is not the main criteria with these corrupt clowns. The last time we chose a coach based on pure meritocracy was Mano Menezes in 2010 who was gone in 2012 ffs. Europe will keep winning WC's for fun.

Martino almost didn't coach the CA because AFA owes him 6 months of wages. Dude we are broke as hell. We couldn't even afford to send sparings with the team so we're practicing with the female soccer team of whichever college is hosting us
Anyways Sampaoli wants to coach in Europe first.

Well, he was offered to us by his agent, but we'll probably never accept an Argentinian coach, which is a shame because yours are much better.

But he probably wants more money after success with Chile. You can read almost daily how AFA is corrupt, and broke.Socur Toxanarosa wrote:Harmonica wrote:AFA doesn't have enough money, all of it dissappears in some shady deals.Socur Toxanarosa wrote:Chile is done without Sampaoli.
