He just dropped Dedication 6 and I thought that was solid too. Seems like he could be having a revival.

I really don't like Drake's music. I thought I'd give those two songs a try though, its not like I hate the guy, so I thought maybe I'll like whatever he is doing now.

God's plan is pretty much everything I dislike about his style Diplomatic Immunity I liked a LOT more, its actual hip hop so no surprises there. Really not into his pop stuff.

Still not my type but I just let youtube roll while I was working. Wasn't paying much attention to it but at some point subconsciously I really liked the songs it was playing. I thought wow the rest of his album or whatever is a lot better than those 2 tracks. Then checked youtube to see the song names and it had switched to lil wayne that's why I was enjoying it.

Fake Love is literally Drake's only singing track that I like. Beyond that, I only really like his hip hop tracks.

the beat is so smooth ffs, I'll definitely check out the next album. If there are only 5 good songs it's still 5x better than Views

I'm a drake fanboy through and through so I like both songs but really I appreciate the contrast between them the most. God's Plan is that song that immediately grabs you because of its melody and being upbeat, while Diplomatic Immunity is a song that the more I listen to, the more I like it and each time I seem to notice a bar I like or passed by in a previous listen.

God's Plan will be overplayed in about 4-5 days for me, but Diplomatic Immunity will be that song that stays relevant

Being a Drakey since day 1, I never really got the hate towards his "singing" tracks. Sure the more recent pop/dance route he has taken I can understand. But RnB bangers such as Find Your Love and many others from his earlier works and even a few of his later works are just that - bangers! Yes, his singing isn't great, but don't judge him as much on that because he is in the new Hip Hop world after all, where perfect singing is nowhere near paramount and RnB has a big influence in it.

Also saw him live years ago and he was total trash. Not even just me thought so, everyone was super disappointed. An artist that doesn't perform well live loses a lot of points for me.

Really? I’ve seen him live twice and thought he was excellent but I’m also from Toronto. He could come onto the stage and fart into the microphone and get a 5 star review and reception here

He was pathetic when I saw him in California. That was 8 years ago so maybe he has gotten better since then. In the same festival we had Snoop Dogg and that just blew Drake away. The difference in stage presence was too much.
