A Totally Hypothetical And Crazy Question

Imagine in a hypothetical world we exchange Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo between Barcelona and Real Madrid keeping everything else the same. Now in your opinion which of the two teams would be stronger and by how much - Barcelona or Real Madrid?

Both would be weaker. Messi is not as physical to suit Madrid’s play while Ronaldo is not suitable for for Barca’s teamwork play

I think Barca do, Cristiano' skillset isnt a match for ours especially if he is to play centerally like Messi does for us.

Perhaps we would play a 4-3-3 in the traditional sense with two "wingers" and a number 9 in Villa.

Seeing Messi v Costa Rica in a more conventional 4-2-3-1 style makes me think he would actually play well at Madrid once their defence is good enough. As for CR, I don't see teams marking like they would with Messi, and the Holy passing triangle wouldn't quite work. CR isn't quite like Messi in terms of working in the shadows during certain games and then popping up if the opportunity arrives, he mostly likes to take the opponent on and show that he is the star. That approach would surely harm Barca against some of the other big teams.

for reasons mentioned above, including passing triangles, team work etc..
against teams playing wth 10 defenders against Barca he will struggle.. Messi dribbles in small spaces, while Cr7 usses his pace & speed to dribble defenders, which needs a counterattacking team which provide him with more spaces, but in tight spaces he will suffer!

I would rather play with Afellay than with CR7
