Both were penalties, only Atletico got one.M99 wrote:Harmonica wrote:Bahahahaa, Barca stolen a most obvious penalty ever. Uefadrid couldn't be more transparent if they wanted.
Your thoughts on Iniesta not getting sent off?

Messi was awful and for the umpteenth time this season Neymar fails to pick up the mantel when Messi flops.

The ref was solid other than not awarding the red to Iniesta, and missing the penalty - which I hate to say this but really canceled out the wrong calls. I saw both of them as goign either way as I believe it was hard for him to judge both of those calls 100%. I don't see why any side would whine honestly.

Barcelona's penalty situation wouldn't have happened if Iniesta had been sent off for the first one, mind you.

Unreal corruption when the ref didn't send Iniesta off but Atletico stood strong. What a performance

Barca fans should go ham on FIFA and their international schedule
After the WCQ in Late March it was never the same for them.

ref was trash atleti couldn't buy a call, every chance for barca to be at an disadvantage the ref blew his whistle, iniesta and suarez should both been sent off, freaking cheats.

Seen him do more defending than attacking this match

I completely agree. I definitely think this referee was far better than the guy in the first leg, who was never able to decide whether to be strict or lenient.

Re: CL QF / Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid
Didn't they change the "penalty + red" rule this season so that it's no longer a red, just a yellow?
Anyway, fantastic job by Atletico, made the best attack in the world look totally toothless, that takes some doing with Suarez leading the line, a totally deserved semi-final place for them.

Don't be so harsh on Barca tonight, they played without their best player. If Messi would have played it'd be a different story.

We rise and fall together, Visca Barca! Lets win the other two! Big thumbs up for Atletico, definitely the most toughest opponent Barca could've drawn, i hope they go all the way through and win it!

Had one bad action if you could call it that, and that's it.
Over two legs of being hacked and kicked at every opportunity, I think his reaction is somewhat mild tbh.

Well Neymar should know by now what savages Atleti are. Before he used to take it on the chin and did his talking with goal these past two games he was just moaning everytime he got touched

I can never complain when Athletico get some kicks up the ass. Their players are butchers.

If Iniesta was sent off we wouldn't have seen that claimed penalty

Are you kidding me? People think we got a better end from the ref even in the game where we lost and get outplayed with decent referee who made no game changing errors and still bitch about it! All those who watched the game with a bit of objectivity and taking into account that small ref errors happen every game can agree with what I said earlier! The rest are simply butthurt on Barca's success this last decade.
