This should free up funds. Now we need a 5th CB, a replacement GK for Neto, a CM and Berardi.

Sevilla have made Leo Bittencourt one of their key transfer targets.
Help me out here, Bundesliga people. All I know is that he's ex-BVB and was an AM of some kind.

They also want Sven Kums from Gwent, who's an FM legend for an entirely different reason.

Well, I'm reading the plan all along was for Alves to have the option to leave for free, wherever he liked after his first season of new contract (this season that just passed) as a favor to him since we had the transfer ban and would be screwed if he left. So him leaving shouldn't be THAT surprising. He had the option to stay longer but he exercised the option to leave seems like
I'm also reading that even though Masch/Juve agreed to terms, that Barca won't accept a bid from Juve as a combo of Math/Bart/Verm will leave this summer and count on Mascherano being here.

Mascherano wants to play in his preferred position.Hopefully he asks for a transfer request.Seems like his agent already has anyway

Haha do not challenge me because i have my sources on point.
Alves to Juve is practically a done deal.
Maschearno might be a bit more difficult.

Because its a sin ?
I cant understand how silly some of you can be.
Have a good time reinforcing that defense with more Mathieu's and Vermaelen's (:

your backline's average age is what? 32.8 with alves, evra, bonucci, chiellini, bazagli? perfect fit for masch who'll also be 32 in a week or two
soo jealous
never said it was a sin, just pointing out the reputation was there and the transfer reinforces it... idk why you got so offended lol

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. I
Yeah,less FIFA logic please.
Defenders mature late in their careers so i dont see whats the problem with having 30+ defenders right now.Bonucci is 29 and Rugani is 21 who are the future.Chiellini(31) is still at an age where he can play at a high level while Barzagli(35) has been ageing like fine wine.
I dont see a problem by bringing in Alves as a short term plan(replacement for Cuadrado) while eventually going after a new RB in a year or two.Left hand side is locked up with Alex Sandro(25)(beast) while Evra will take a backseat next season.
And unlike Barca,Mascherano would come here to play in midfield his preferred position which is completely irrelevant to the point you're trying to make.
Meanwhile Barca have Vermaelen,Bartra and Mathieu who are not even good enough to make our reserves.Yeah, jealous is what you should be

As if we aren't going to get new defenders this season, half of those guys you mentioned are rumored to be headed out anyway. And those scrubs were perfectly good enough for us to win a cup double and get pretty far in the Champions, so it's whatev.

Leonardo Bittencourt is currently playing both as left winger and AM at 1.FC Köln, where he does pretty much okay. Nothing too special from what I remember, but Köln doesn't really want to sell him as he can still develop further.Jay29 wrote:Sevilla have made Leo Bittencourt one of their key transfer targets.
He played for the German U21 NT, but at 22 years, this time has come to an end now. I somehow doubt he will make the step to the senior NT, as there were several other players who impressed more at his position.

Juve need to take what they can get tbh, although they are a top club they can't attract elite players in their prime. Alves on a free is great business tbh for a season or two. Surprised someone like City aren't in for him.

I am a Juventus fan and I agree completely.. However our project of incorporating and investing money into up and coming players like dybala, sandro, rugani pogba etc and buying old proven players like pirlo, barzagli etc has created a winning system that can match or even by pass a model say Utd,Psg,City use which is buy players in their prime no matter the financial cost............. Mascherano will not come cheap but to be honest I wouldn't have a problem paying big money for him even though he is 31..
People need to remember although we are the 9th richest club in the world right now we are constantly growing in revenue and if we haveto sell pogba or dybala etc we will get big money so even if we need to sell it will give us ample money for replacements.
Also if we keep going far in the champions league the club will get more recognition on a global scale and grow the brand financially to where it should be which is a top 3-5 club

If Juve can pull off Masch then wow. It will be a massive business for them.
And Barca well, better they get some quality CBs (Laporte, Munoz )cos what they have apart from Masch and Pique are turds honestly.

Man United want Manolas, but we want 40m for him per Sky Italia. Clearly this price is to put them off, but I don't think it will. We are linked with Samuel Umtiti from Lyon so if we sell Manolas (which I'm against), this would probably be the best replacement for him. We're also linked to Caceres from Juve, but given his injury record Umtiti has to take preference.
La Repubblica have us contacting Madrid over the availability of Jese. The asking price is 25m.
We also have Inter's Marcelo Brozovic on our radar as a possible replacement for Pjanic, per Brozovic's agent.

Hapless_Hans wrote:Can anyone tell me? How good is Hysaj?
Very good, pretty good, incredible, decent, or ok?
He's improved steadily over the past two years, I'd say that right now he's a pretty good fullback but given another couple of years under Sarri I expect him to become even better.
He's more of a defensive fullback as Ghoulam tends to be more aggressive on the left side for Napoli but he's actually a very good crosser of the ball when he does get forward. He's not particularly fast nor a stunning dribbler but he doesn't lose the ball cheaply, he has excellent stamina, he can switch sides if necessary and increasingly reads the game well. When you first watch him, he comes across as nothing special but he has few weaknesses and given his steady improvement he's a good bet for the future.
If you're after a fullback to play a significant role in your side's attacking build-up however I'd probably look elsewhere.

If you sell Pjanic, I personally don't feel you need another purchase given that Paredes is returning from loan. Ninja, Strootman, De Rossi, Florenzi and Paredes is an excellent rotation through the centre of the park. I'd save the money you'd spend chasing Brozovic to go after a proper right back.

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. I
Bayern Munich say Mario Gotze will have to decide for himself whether he wants to move away from the club.
Sky sources understand the 23-year-old is a transfer target for Liverpool, where he would be reunited with his former boss at Dortmund, Jurgen Klopp.
And with new head coach Carlo Ancelotti set to begin work at the Allianz Arena, Bayern's CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has refused to give Gotze any guarantees.
"I had talks with him (Mario) and (Carlo) Ancelotti. Mario knows the thoughts of Bayern," Rummenigge told Kicker magazine. "Everything was clearly and seriously explained to Mario.
"He knows what the club thinks and what the new coach thinks. Mario has to evaluate for himself whether he wants to play constantly."
is he staying or going.
