A month or 2 back, I read Barca were heavily after Laporte but then our sports director backed off and said "Laporte has already been sold City so we are no longer pursing the player." or something along those lines. I dont think Juve will be able to afford him. Will probably get Kovacic on loan or something. Which could be good for him honestly

Kovacic is quality, he needs more game time but has no place at Juve. We have 7 CMs as of now. From Real its James, Isco or no one.

I dont think Isco would work as an AM. He is more suited for a CM role or LW. James on the other hand would probably benefit from leaving and playing for a team that wants to use him as an AM but considering how much he cost, it is very unlikely that Perez will let him go for less

Actually wouldn't have a huge issue with Ben Arfa joining for a non ridiculous fee. He seems like he could come off the bench and cause trouble with his speed and trickery and really that's all we need to compliment Munir as a sub.  Would also keep Lucho from using slow ass Adra on the wings, and instead use him as the slow ageing sub to the even older and still aging Iniesta. Especially because the reports state the transfer would be for free

Gameiro can go F himself; especially for the rumored price tag.

Considering his past attitude problems though I don't think he'd accept a bench role very well.

As someone who has watched him for 5 years this is a myth.

Yes i do, in fairness i also think against certain teams there's an option of putting Messi deeper due to his playmaking and have Ben Arfa as a forward.

Whether Luis Enrique will actually use that option is another matter, i wouldn't worry about him being a drama queen or anything like that though. He never did for us and was definitely well within his rights to considering how he was treated.

Personally i would like to see him join a team where he's a starter and a key part of the attack but that's just a personal performance as i want to see him do well. There's no reason why he wouldn't succeed at Barcelona should you sign him.

I think Ben Arfa will be just fine as a back up, and he is quite a fantastic back up. God knows we ourselves could use better players forward with the frequency at which Bale gets injured.

Heck you could definitely do with HBA as well given scrubs like Vazquez are getting minutes.
